Nice unit

This sounds real good, still tuning on it and i also have the AC 4 channel unit as well. Seems over priced but it does sound verry good!

This amplifier takes four gauges easily and it sounds great

Very solid amp but a couple of quirks...

The amp does a good job of driving a JLAudio 12W6 in my SUV. I have the amp stashed under the rear cargo deck next to the spare tire and it has never overheated/shut down.
The 2 negatives that I have with this amp is that the GTO circuit did not work for me and I had to run a separate 12v turn-on lead.
Also, the Accu-bass feature would kick in at weird random times and sounded horrible so I called Audiocontrol and they told me how to basically shut that feature off. It sounds much more natural now. Overall I am happy with the amp going on my 4th year with this install. I must admit that I am not a kid anymore so no continuous loud operation or unbearable rap is being played every time I'm in the car. But I still enjoy extremely dynamic bass that's clean and tight (sealed enclosures for me). Enjoy!

Great features!

Amp was easy to fit where I needed it to go. Hooked up to a stock Shaker 500 system via the rear speaker wires. Easily tuned and more than enough power for a JL Stealthbox

Annoyed

It's interesting that the manual recommends 4 gauge or larger power and ground wires when the terminal block will only accept 12 gauge- or if you really fight it, maybe 10 gauge. WTH?!

The remote turn on terminal is the same size!!!

I ran 1/0 to go to this amp (before it arrived) and now I'm stuck with no way to connect it. Ridiculous!!!
