Mixed feelings
I ordered this for my 2013 civic. I used it with 2 pdx amps. When I took everything to the install shop, they said it looked like I had recieved a used piece of equipment. The internal jumpers were all moved around and not in their default setting. After a few hours they fixed the problem. I'm not sure if it was a factory thing or sonic but needless to say I am not a happy customer. The unit works and does as advertised but tuning everything is a big headache. If I could go back I would get the LC7 and just adjust bass and treble from the head unit. Overall the unit does produce background noise, and seems to be lacking for my subs. Unit is acceptable, but if you truly want a nice piece of equipment spend $100 more on a Hertz BitOne.

LCQ-1 product Review
Excellent product, Simplistic in use. The quality is great with separate bands for front , rear and sub. The auto summing is a must have for higher end vehicle integration, unfortunately you lose the fader control for front and rear. What could be improved are the setting controls. as you have to remove the face panel to access, and I have found the GTO sensing hit or miss. But overall a great product with lost of flexibility and AC tech support are readily available to assist.

Not Worth the Money
I have owned this since 2012. This unit appeared to be exactly what I needed to retain my stock head unit and add an aftermarket amplifier. However, the unit does not fully work as advertised. My head unit has no amplifier turn-on lead, meaning that when the ignition switch is on, the LCQ-1 and amp are always on. But wait, the LCQ-1 has the ability to turn itself on by sensing an incoming signal from its speaker inputs. Great idea. Too bad it doesn't work. I tried two of these units and neither would recognize the source signal and power up. The Audio Control technical support was great but none of their suggestions to get it working the way I wanted succeeded. I wound up installing a switch in my dash to turn the loc off when I am not listening to my stereo. This unit is noisy too. I thought my amp was generating transistor hiss during idle. Turns out it is the LCQ-1. With the car off, the head unit off, and just the loc and amp turned on, there is considerable idle hiss present. Disconnecting the low level cables from the LCQ-1 to the amp proved this. With just the amp feeding my speakers, the hiss disappeared. Lastly, removing the cover to change jumper settings is a pain. Well, not the removal but reattaching the cover after you change the jumpers. They really blew it with the design, as it takes quite a bit of effort to get the darn cover back on correctly.
