Put it 'IN' the doors as well....

Dynamat Xtreme makes a huge difference in reducing road noise and in keeping the sound within the confines of the vehicle. Don't cheap out either. Buy enough to line the 'inside' pockets of your doors. Before doing so I got a tinny, tip tip tip sound while tapping the outside door whereas after I got a nice heavy THUD! Also, remember to install it on a cool day or at night so if you misplace the sheet you can easily peel it off and re-do. By the next day this stuff holds with a death grip. Good Quality Product.

I used this kit to cover both doors in my S-10 Blazer (its a 2 door) and it went in just fine. This would be a weekend type project, something to just take your time with and work out any air bubbles. It gives my truck that solid door feel. No more rattles.

I highly reccomend you have this professionally installed.it works great but if you install improperly you will not get the benifits it offers plus any car repairs can be a lot spendier due to technicians having to work around it.

I've always heard that you need to sound deaden a vehicle for best sound, but I never thought it would make a big difference. Well Now Im a believer. It made the radio louder and cut down on road noise too.

Can't go wrong with dynamat

If your going to put high end speakers in your doors, you need to have sound deadening for optimal sound. I'd recommend any dynamat product as the different kits just provide different options for where you want to apply it. Great product and its at a good price.

Dynamat Extreme Stuff

Wear gloves when installing! This product is only worth the money paid for it at Sonic Electronix. I cannot say the difference in the sound quality is even noticeable. I installed Dynamat thoroughly in the front door inner steel panels on my wife's Focus. The back I did not. All 4 speakers installed are identical Alpines. One in each of the 4 doors.
I cannot tell the difference in sound quality. Alpine head unit driving all 4 speakers and no others.

The car as a whole seems a bit quieter and more "solid" with the Dynamat, but I seriously doubt the efficacy of the product for audio reproduction purposes.

If extraneous rattling/vibrating noises are your problem, duct tape and/or chimney roof flashing will be just as effective and cheaper.

Great product but not enough!

Great product! Installed in my 2008 Altima Sedan. It reduced road noise and speakers in doors do not rattle for me to appreciate the details of my music. Only concern is there seems not to be enough product in the kit according to my installer for full coverage. The same for the trunk kit. Definitely a must to complete a good sounding stereo system. Expensive as hell in retail store but Sonic offers it at a good price that I can afford.

Dynamatt is still king in my opinion. In my last install I put it up against the hype of Peel n Seal from hardware store being just as good. Its not. Dynamatt much thicker so more effective and zero odor. Peel n seal will not smell as long as its used in a way that all adhesive bitumen is making full contact. If its used to cover door openings as in sealing, it will smell. Dynamatt is expensive but buying from this site is about 40percent cheaper than Worst Buy. I feel its worth the expense.

Great product from a great company. This is an absolute must when installing door speakers. Without it you are throwing performance away.

Better sound!

Used it on my '97 honda civic and it went on great! Highly recommended if you have any rattling noise! I noticed it also reduced outside noise and improved speaker noise!

Get it !!! It works !!!!

Although this is for the doors, I used it on my truck lid and I have to tell you, It completely stopped my rattle. I have 2 15" kickers pushing 750 watts each and this stuff eliminated all rattle, just pure bass now. You will not be disappointed.

dynomat is great stuff, but pricey

Dynomat is one of the best sound dampening mats on the market, but just a little bit to pricey. I bout this for my dodge ram doors and it cover 2 doors with no problems. Very thick and sticks extremely well.

If you going to use sound damping around your speaker you should go ahead and do the whole door it dosen't cost much more, and get the dynaliner too.

I've used 3 of these door kits in total. Easy to use if you are careful. Works well. Doesn't work magic, but cuts noise some. Expensive, but a good investment.

Can't build a system without it.

Just an essential part to any hi-end system. It does its job very well. would recommend buying also the rubber roll.

Works well, cost too much

Dynamat is the original and works well. However they continue to over charge and give you less product than the competition. Compare nvx to Dynamat and you won't go back.

Highly recommended

I noticed a huge difference in the amount of bass out of my speakers after lining the doors with this. I'm only running off of two 6x8's in the back and it sounds like i have a sub. I highly recommend that you get this to complete any speaker install

good for multiple uses

I have this kit installed on my 2005 Dodge ram under my box with two 10" subs. It shields any rattling around the box which I built into the cab under the rear seats.
You can use the strips anywhere - very flexible.

Easy to install, reasonable price for the amount of product supplied.

I bought the Dynamat "door kit" to dampen the sound in the hatch area of my Toyota. The car had very little to no sound insulation materials in this area. I was able to insulate the wheel well areas on both sides of the car, and most of the hatch panels. The result is minor dampening of road noise but a high reduction of noises such as the brakes, road debris hitting the wheel wells, and high pitch exhaust noise. I would think applying a lot more Dynamat would further decrease noise, but the trade off is increased weight to the car.

Works great

I am running 2 sundown audio 12s in a ported box tuned at 29hz running off a Hifonics brutus 2400 amp and I have flex. And lots of it. But I have 0 squeeks or rattles and the Dynamat has cut down some of the flex, I'd hate to see the flex without the Dynamat. Haha. But I had enough to cover the front two doors completely in a 98 gmc Sierra (big doors) and I covered about 80% of the back wall of the cab under the back window and I still have one whole sheet left. This stuff is great and a good price for what It is. However, the metal aluminum looking stuff is very sharp on the edges so look out for that. You can install it without the roller, but I'm sure the roller helps out a ton.

Dynamat is the best sound dampening equipment that I have ever used. I Have 2 door kits done which covers all of my doors. And I also have a trunk kit done in my car. And i can't hear any rattling at all, in or outside of my car.

Oh it works...

I recently put 2 12s in a nissan extended cab truck and in order to fit the box where the back seats WERE. Yes I stripped out the seats. all plastic, all the trim pieces, sealed 2 vent holes and saw zawed the sheet metal off that holds my jack to the back wall and covered every inch with this stuff and then stuck velcro in the center and all corners to hold carpet that is cut perfect. No road noise from back tires and no more vibratin from that thin sheet metal on the back wall. I want to go all out and do as much of the inside of it i can.

Dynamat is dynamite

I've used this product before and my only wish is that is was less expensive. It really quiets down the vehicle and makes the stereo sound much better. It is easy to install and fit in all of the curves and sticks without any problems.

Excellent product

Used dynamat on my entire car, first time doing anything like this, very easy to work with, cuts easily, very sticky yet able to pull off and redo if necessary. Use the roller, and wear gloves as the foil can leave nasty paper like cuts.

Pretty good product for replacing the sound deadening in your door panels. Not a huge noticeable difference though.

no rattles

I bought this for my doors on a 2001 neon.I had already done under the headliner,trunk,and back dash.When I did the doors with this it knocked down the noise better then everything else.Buy this product for shure!Also buy the roller so you dont wear your fingers raw installing.

The Dynamat Xtreme Door Kit has to be the best $$$ to square foot ratio kit that Sonic sells right now....Great value and this stuff really killed the vibrations that I was getting in my doors!!

Really works. Completely stopped all and potential rattles. I didn't have any being my ride is fairly new. Be careful wirh installation because the foil will give you a mean papercut if not handled properly.

2001 Saturn SC2 Dynamat Install

Restored my wife's Saturn sport coupe to like new. These Saturn's are nice cars but a bit noisy. So, when I upgraded the stereo speakers, I Dynamatted the doors, rear deck and trunk. Big improvement in reducing car and road vibrations and noise.

This insulation really lets the new sound system shine now.

Thinking about Dynamatting the floor, firewall, and maybe under the hood.

Sticky, Thick and Durable

I used this kit for the inner panel's on my van's front doors. 4-door kit is good for 2 truck/van doors. They're easy to stick and press on with hands.

Dynamite Door Kit

Over the years I have used several sound damping materials in my cars. Dynamat has consistently proven to dampen the sound as it it marketed. If in doubt, get some. If you are new to sound deadening and can not afford to purchase all the material for your car, I would recommend placing the Dynamat on the lower portion of you car doors first and work it as close to complete coverage as possible and then work your way up the door. Follow that with coverage on the floor and then the roof area. Dynamat also works on the back of rattling plastic panels. I continue to purchase more Dynamat as my projects need it. Dynamat is worth your money, and should be the first step in your sound system. Lowering your sound floor will make your ride sound/mentally feel better in that alone to your passengers. Less noise to overcome means less power to achieve the sound that you are looking for. Go forgot and buy as much as you can. It'll be one of best investments that you can do for your car!

Quality Ring Terminals

When i got these i slipped my wire in installed it in my car and was done. no problems works like a charm. good value.

These are some good terminals, but are hard to solder, so please Sonic sell proper solder ring terminals.

Did the job

Nothing special, did the job. Quality as expected for the price and crimped well. Soldered well, and the jacket is good quality.

They're OK

If you're using them in the cab, this are probably fine. I used them in my engine compartment. I had to take off the crappy plastic covers and use heat-shrink tubing to get what I wanted done and ensure they would last in my engine bay. The plastic is pretty weak, and the metal rings are just OK.

actually 2 gauge

I don't know if I got a bad batch or not but these connectors are way too big for 4 gauge wire. They fit better on 2 gauge wire.

Hi Quality Wire....

I used this kit to install a Hifonics amp in my grand cherokee.
The quality of the wire is very good and flexible.
However the 4 gauge wire postive wire has a built in connector on the battery end that has a whole that is way too small for putting a side post bolt through... I had to grind it out to the correct size. That is my
only gripe. I would recommend this product anyway.

I didn't have a big enough crimp so I just used a hammer to hit it into place on top of cement or a metal object.

PA600 with 4 DXi650

I used this kit to put a Polk PA660 behind 4 DXi650s. The kit is beautiful! The fuse box is awesome. The 4G hot and ground wires are flexible and are very high quality. This kit contains some of the best speaker wire I have seen. I didn't need to use the speaker wire it in my 07' Civic, so wired my 3 year old's Cerwin Vega D5's with it in her room. The RCA's are nice looking and now my car set up is wired professionally from home! I chose the 4G over the 8G so I could split the wire to 2-8s in the trunk for 2 amps later.

After looking at a few kits I decided to go with this one. The price was a little higher than most but omg is this stuff great. its extremely flexible, provides a vast amount of power to your system, looks cool, and sounds great! lots of copper stuffed in these things. Highly recommend it

I'm very happy I chose the Kicker Amp Install Kit with RCAs. High quality 4 gauge that not only does the job but looks real pretty under the hood. That Fuse holder with 100 amp AFS fuse is no slouch either.

Best amp kit I have ever owned!

The cables that came in the palate were of the best quality I have ever owner, the length of the cables were more than enough for any at home, normal installation. I have an 02 ram 1500 extended cab and was able to run a power an ground to my capacitor and had enough cable left over to use the cables from this package for the power and grounds on two more amps. I still have left over remote cables and the RCA and fuse block were amazing. I recommend this kit to anyone who wants to run great deal of power the right way.

These work great... if you can bend them correctly. you need more then just a pair of pliers to get them to stay on 4 gauge but once you do get them tight they will stay for a long time. I've had mine for 6 months and they are working great.

You can crimp these with a pair of channel locks but go the extra mile and get a butane torch, some flux paste, and solder and solder your power wires for better conductivity.

I used this on a RV to but in a video/audio system and I really liked the amp kit. Nice a heavy wire and the fuse was nice heavy plastic. You will never go wrong on kicker, so I would tell any one to buy this. I'm thinking of upgradeing my wire to this down the road.

I got this Kicker wiring kit to hook up my Pioneer deck, speakers, and amp. Nice wiring kit

This kit came with everything that I needed to install my 4 channel amp. It cost a little more than I was looking to spend but was very well worth it. All of the components were very high quality.
