crazy

These subs are crazy. I had installed them into a friends car after owning them because they had too much bass. Now since I upgraded vechicles I'm seriously thinking of investing in these again. The price might look high for the average person, but if you have friends that are interested they definitely hold their value.

2 AW1208T's in Subzone ZV Enclsoure 1.5 cu ft per sub

These subs in this enclosure and seriously unbelievable. I am powering both with a jl 1000/1 and the bass is insane. It rattled my rearview mirror off, and blew my sunroof seals off. But, they are so loud and so deep and never ever have a problem with extremely low bass notes, for prolonged periods of time. These are superb subwoofers if you want loud low bass, and in the subzone zv series vented enclosure at 1.5 per sub, it's a perfect match. Just make sure you run atleast 500RMS to each subwoofer. I know it says 1,500 and I have no doubt that these can handle that without a problem but 500 real RMS to each subwoofer in that specific ported enclosure will make any bass fanatic extremely happy. I put two dynamat bulk packs in my civic and it still rattles everything. It is unbelievable. I also own two 12'' W7s and compared to them, the W7's are louder, but for the price vs. loudness, the audiobahns are clearly your best choice.

7 years later, still one of the best!

After owning the Audiobahn AlumQ 12" subs for about 4 years, I bought a pair of these in 2005 and put them in Subzone's ZV212-2030 box tuned to 30hz. Now Audiobahn may have gone to subwoofer heaven, but these beasts are still going like the day I first hooked them up to my old Lightning Audio 2000 Storm D amp (before Rockford Fosgate bought them) and then later to my old Power Acoustik Digital Class D and now my current Power Acoustik BAMF 4000/1D. Through all these years of amps and music from Pantera's Walk to Treal Lee and Prince Rick's Throwed Off, they have never failed to shake the cars 6 deep in front or behind me and could definitely be heard a mile away! My boy's truck hit 145db and 147db with his setup back in 2005-2006 and my 2 subs smoked his setup easily but I never had them officially tested. Whenever this pair does decide to call it quits, I think I'm gonna have to bury them right next to my old pit bull Chevy, because they been riding with me through thick and thin just like he did back in the day!

None Needed

I upgraded from 2 Kickers to these subs. I did not run them in the spec boxes or anywhere close to it. I had them in a 1cubic foot sealed box and they still hit amazingly hard. These subs are great for power, and they do not skip a beat with the right amp.

Sickest sub avalable

Part1- If you get the chance buy these subs the first time i opened the box when i got these subs i freaked, they are deff. the best looking subs by far ive ever seen. The bass on these will brush your shoulder off, and be herd from blocks... First day i herd these i was runnin them to my reg. Aprox.200watt sterio(but sterio could not push it that good) in a big 3.5ft by 10in box my cuz. lended me to her them.they sounded sooo good. Even if these things arnt even moving they sound good. I put the box in my tahoe and dammnnn they sounded good. The weight on them makes my r.mirror breakdance when they 200watt. sterio is half way up(Its almost as if the sub is attached to the car)... Nasty sub
Part2-seriously words cant explain it... I do not know what id do without audiobahn... i cant speak for all there products but, DAMN. Im one of the biggest audiofans ull ever find and write now i have a set of these 1208t's and they can blow other sub systems away that cost like 2-3 times more away. You will not regret getting these subs, just make sure you break them in, and find a good amp to push them.

BEASTLY!

I bought one 12" a while back at a great price and had a ported box built to spec for it. the bass hits extremely hard and can be turned up with no distortion. Thanks Sonic Electronix!
