These seem to amplify the signal
These audiobahn Expert series interconnects are about an 8 out of 10 in the low noise area, but I'm comparing them to the 401XLN's by Monster. Now, in signal transfer capability, these audiobahns exceed monster cable 401XLN and MicroXLN's by far. These interconnects seem to amplify the signal going to my jl 1000/1. When I installed the 401XLN's after having the Audiobahns installed I was happy with the clean sound and extremely low noise but I was not happy with the amount of signal transferred. The audiobahns just make my subs louder and they sound very clean. For this price, it's an unbelievable deal. If you listen to music with an extremely high amount of bass like I do, you will definately appreciate these interconnects. If you are powering your 4 channel component amplifier for your speakers, go with the Monster cable interconnects. For subwoofer applications, I say again, These are just plain superb!
