there ok ...

So I bought these only because they were on close out at a local store ... so for the price, I cant complain ... too much.

As everyone can already tell, the fake chrome looks bad and makes them a little more difficult to install .... the sound quality is decent, I did have problems with them sounding like they were blown right out of the box ... I was mad ... looking closer, the plastic "cup" around the base of the woofer was moving and ratteling making the awful noise ... I hot glued them down, and the noise subsided ... they sound pretty good now.

These 6x9's are by far, the best i've ever owned!
Go ahead and make you friends ears BLEED! The sound quality is superb, Crisp and clean highs with awesome mids. I recommend buying! A Definate '10' !

These are some of the loudest

if you want a 6x9 that feel in all the mid range that you want you have to hear these the bass and the mid range bass is sick. i have a stock jbl radio in my 2000 solara and they fit it prefect cant over power them or under power them. Sound great with 12's

I had a pair of these inside of a massive box in my van and they were LOUD! I'm talking the highs, mids, and the lows! People thought I had a sub in the back, but it was just a pair of these. And they weren't powered off of some skimpy power head unit, I ran them off an amplifier. Real power to them in a real box. They CAN handle it! Absouluty amazing for the price point. If I wasn't upgrading to a higher Audiobahn line I'd still use them. However, be warned: the magnet came free from the basket I was able to fix mine easily though.

not that hot

i bought these speakers here (order #277847) and i am not at all happy with the quality, they look cheesy, the chromeish basket around the bottom of the speaker makes them hard to fit, and the tweeter sticks up past the top of the speaker making it impossible to mount flushly under the carpet of a rear window liner... then, after all that, they sound terrible, they dont get loud, i bought them for highs, and maybe just a touch of mids, but even at 120 hz high pass filter they start to distort at around 48 of 62 on my pioneer 50x4 head unit and arent loud... also got 2 blaupunkt 6.5" speakers for my fronts and i wish i woulda stuck with that brand, will never get audiobahn anything ever again.

These bump!

These speakers sound great, they were easy to install. I removed the dub grill so they would fit and the grill is kind of cheesy in the first place but don't let the cheesy look fool ya. These speakers bump! These rattle my trunk like subs but have a clear sound, they cover highs, mids and lows. They are worth the price.

sound like subs

i have a pair of these in the rear deck of my monte and people think i have 2 10s in the trunk. they make the trunk rattle a lil bit and have great clarity. i am using the subwoofer output on my HU to give them 70 watts a piece and it is great. cant wait till i get my L5 hooked up and run these for highs and mids again cuz they are great in that aspect,too. they can handle their rated rms power too. my cousin has a 100w rms per channel amp and they are the most wangin 6x9s in town. dont pass these up BUY A PAIR!! p.s. flush mount these b/c the grills look are plastic and look pretty cheesy

This speakers are really nice they have a nice look very good sound and they are very loud. For the price is the best buy you can do. And the grill was chrome.
