NVX XKIT42

This is the perfect kit for anything around 1000 watts RMS. I have it hooked to a NVX JAD1200.1, and it is perfect. I literally have nothing bad to say about this kit. Every wire is true to gauge and it comes with plenty of wire, even 40ft of speaker wire! The RCA works great and the wires are strong and flexible. It'd be nice if it was a little cheaper, but it's definitely worth it. NVX makes some of the best, high quality wires and instillation equipment.

I am using this in a small suv that has no carpet but herculiner throughout and I need pure copper for corrosion resistance.. could be cheaper I guess..

Best wiring overall

when i received this and opened it up i was amazed when i saw how a 4ga. wire could look so much like 0ga. and bend so easily. the speaker wire is so thick that you would not believe that it is speaker wire. the wires also make your music sound so much clearer than any other wiring can. all the components are the best in quality.

Not your average amp kit.

If you're picking up a bad*ss amp, why wouldn't you pick up a PROPER wiring kit ?!
I've previously used NVX Power/Ground wire for a BIG 3 Upgrade install, and was blown away by the Quality of the wire. High Strand, True To Spec, Super Flexible, Very Durable, and Conducts Very Well. Same can be said for the Speaker Wire and RCAs. I wish NVX made a kit with their higher end RCA cables, but the ones with this kit definitely get the job done. The fact that the Power/Ground come Crimped and Shrink Wrapped really save on install time, and the flex wrap on the Power Wire makes the install look Very professional. I ended up using the other goodies (ties and connectors) for various other things, but its pretty cool that it comes with the kit.

Great true 4 gauge wire kit. Both power/ground cables are flexible easy to work with, rca calbe is great. This kit comes with everything you need for an amp install. I will be using NVX amp kits for now on future installs.

At first, I was a little skeptical of NVX products, but I must say this kit feels very solid. The wire gauge is true to size and actually bigger when compared to my Stinger brand wire I've previously used. The wire is extremely flexible as well, making installation in tight places a breeze. You get everything needed to install a single amp in this kit. Don't let the name scare you away, give it a try!

Best Amplifier Kit

I take my chance when I ordered this kit. I almost spend over $100 on brand name kit. I'm glad I did bought this kit. Don't let this brand scared you. When I opened the package and saw the power cable, I know I made the right choice. The power cable is a true 4 gauge. The speaker cable ,you have enough to run both right and left from front door to the trunk and still have some left. RCA cable may look cheap but so far the signal from my head unit to the amplifier is excellent without any distortion. I love everything on this kit. Buy them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sweet Deal

When i purchased my amplifier they gave me a butt load off the purchase price of this wiring pack.
Pro's: good quality wire very flexible and easy to work with.
Con's: Needs more wire Connectors/Terminals with kit ( that are the right size) Ex: 4 gage wire doesn't usually fit into a 6 guage wire terminal/connector.

Wiring kit is really great! Delivers good power and isnt made with a cheap plastic isolation but with a nice flexible rubber isolation. Best wiring kit i had so far and i would buy it again if i sell my car because really....this wiring kit makes me one happy customer.

Bought this kit to run 1000 rms, some high grade power wire, very flexible, the terminations are perfect, came with lots of speaker wire... only bad thing I can say about this it the interconnect RCA cable came damaged... and the plugs on it feel really cheap, the insulation by one of the plugs was broken, just the outer jacket the inner insulation was fine, but it broke in an area where there would be high tension, right against the connector. all in all great kit for just the wires appears to be true to set and ofc, fuse holder was nice as well, just RCA was junk...

Comes with everything you need for most installs. Sheilding and core quality is head and shoulders above most top name brands and even cheaper in price.

Amp Install Kit

Not much to say about this. The wire is extremely flexible and its true 4 awg copper wire. The only thing I don't like is the speaker wire is hard to strip if your not using a knife. I got a good deal with a nvx bda750.1 with this wire. I highly recommend that amp if your on a budget.

I use to use Rockford amp install kits but went with NVX because I liked a few things better about the kit especially price. Easily the best Amp kit Ive ever used. Everything you could need to install an amp is included and the 4 gauge wire is the most flexible wire Ive seen. Very easy to install the kit because of how easy you can bend the wire. I’ll never buy another brand again.

Best RCA in a kit ever!

Most RCA cables in these kits are bottom of the barrel, cheap crap. I work with precision calibration equipment and measured the capacitance of the RCA and both channels with a 1693 RLC digi-bridge (traceable to NIST) and they came out to about 25-26 pF per foot! I bought the standalone X-series RCAs from NVX and these were also 25pF. I'm convinced NVX doesn't sell a single bad cable or accessory.

The kit came with numerous adapters for mounting the cables to power and ground sources and even some quick disconnects. Highly recommend this kit!

I watch a video on the internet they were testing it with the SMD Dyno..the owners manual says you can't put this amp @ 0.5 ohms..but watching the video the guy tested at 0.5 ohms..''IT THROWS..2967 WATTS RMS @ 0.5 OHMS..almost 3000 watts!! man im getting this amp and for the price you cant beat it!!

man, i have this amp in my 2010 chrysler 300 on 4 M124 powerbass 12" subs. I had them wired at 1 ohm. I did'nt have nothing on the amp turned up. It was just to much power for my subs, so i wired them down to 4 ohms. Everything turned up half way. It is beating like crazy. In October i am getting some RE.I will tell you about it later. But, this is a good amp, it really has more power than it says.

The best amp i ever had

I have this amp push 2 Powerbass M124 in a ported custom box at 2 omhs, with the gain and the bass half way. Man this amp got these woofers about to jump out the box. These is the best amp i have ever owned. Good buy. I need me a Alpine head unit now. This amp can really push 4 12" Kicker CVR'S easy.

i'm back. now i have some diamond audio 12's. i a ported box. these are some of the best subs i ever had. they are 600 rms each. i'm running them at 1 ohms, gain turned 1/2 up. my doors are about to come off it hits so hard. and the bd drive eq really got everything sounding nice. i have 10 highs ,and mids in the inside. this is a nice amp.

Great amp for the money

I bought this amp to replace a Kenwood amp that I had been running for quite a while paired up with two Rockford Fosgate P3D4-10's in a large ATREND ported box bridged at 1 ohm. The Kenwood was getting old and isn't 1 ohm stable in the first place. The difference between these two amps is incredible! The notes are tight, the sound is very crisp and clear and the amp doesn't get hot. It gets warm to the touch, but I've never had it get hot. And I tend to push my system a little hard. Even if it is only two tens. They're insanely loud for a couple of tens. If you're looking for an amp that can make good power for under $200, this is the way to go, hands down! Love the amp

Huge fan of NVX, the quality of the kit at the price point is very reasonable and overall the install went pretty well, AND it looks great!! However, the heat shrink sleeves have almost no hold, even after using my torch the sleeves kept sliding off of the ends of the sheathing, I ended up using my own heat shrink tubing in some places.

audiopipe disappointment

I have a 1000 watt, 4 channel audiopipe and I'm very disapointed with it. Every time I crank it up with a heavy metal band I like, on about the third or fourth song it starts overheating and it temporarily shuts down. I know its overheating because I touch the amp and its very hot. When I touch the rockford fosgate punch amp, which is connected to a 10 inch sub., it runs a lot cooler than the audiopipe. Again very disapointed. Hope they make them a lot better.

My first Amplifier and Sub-woofer install. I would love to say it went smooth but every install will have its hiccups. I still need to upgrade my alternator and add an extra battery. I used a SMD DD-1 (Great tool) to help with tuning my Pioneer deck and amplifier through the amplifier. I have the gain on the amp a quarter the way up and this thing still pounds distortion free! Paired with a HDS3 12" Dual 2 ohm Sub-woofer from SoundQubed in a Atrend Box specifically tuned for that sub. Great Value for what you pay. This amp as i seen on youtube does Rated and even more at half ohm but i wont go down that low because i don't want to void my warranty so I'll just stick to 1ohm load :)!

Went from an 1100w Rms 1 ohm stable Memphis amp to audiopipe. I actually like the look of this amp. Hooked up to one kicker l7 12, 2ohm dvc. Sub-1500w max/750w Rms. Wired at 1 ohm. This thing has some power so be sure to use a multimeter for adjusting gain to voltage/rms watts of your sub/subs/head unit. MORE THAN ENOUGH power for MY setup. Gain knob also works well so far. So far the power of this amp beats the Memphis amp I had. Shipping was fast and problem free. Thanks a ton sonic electronix! 😀

This is a great amp set your gains with smd I have it on 12 in sub in a 2012 gmc acadi it has a 180 amp alternator so volts are great I would recommend this amp.

Round two!

Had this amp for 8 months and it was very powerful and sounded good but went into protect for no apparent reason. Sonic was great though and sent out a new replacement ASAP. New one is working perfect so far. Not thrilled about the looks but these amps are very hard to beat for the money. I believe the 1st one was just a bad apple. I don't expect this one to fail. It was the 1st amp that ever failed me in nearly 30 years of having systems. Hopefully the last.

Great budget amp. I haven't had any problem with any of mine. Set your gains properly and you will be happy. I have 4 of them pushing 4 15 inch subs and I couldn't be happier. I also have 1 running 2 15's. Never got hot on me. Not one problem. They're a little power hungry but with a few electrical upgrades they shine. I fully recommend this amp.

Best budget amp available. Excellent power and sounds great. I have and had alot of expensive, high end amplifiers and this audiopipe hangs right in there with them. I only question their durability. My 1st one started smoking after 4 months. Havent had any issues yet with my second one. I would def purchase if your on a budget. Just make sure your using 4 guage power and ground and set your gain correctly. Im running mine on 2 sundown sa12d4 rev 3s @ 1ohm and my gain isnt even a quarter of the way up and my subs are moving big time. They are loud and sound clean, no distortion at all.

I recommend this amp to true bass heads. This amp will show you what you've been missing. I am pushing two type r 15 dvc 2 at two ohms. The amps gain is halfway up and it's plenty. Before this amp I was running a 5000 watt Anarchy amp and that was beefy. But this slaps. I bought 2. Only negative is it's a light dimmer. So now it's time to upgrade to a 2nd battery and that were the bass is going to be hardest.

The Audiopipe APCL-15001D Is toHertz HX 250D sub. I will be putting it on two. I wouId give it more stars, but I have not had time to fully test its capabilities. The 1 draw back is, the supplied Fuse holder is HUUUGE. It creates mounting issues all by itself.

I purchased this amp to replace my Sundown saz 1200d amp while it was being repaired and to use it as a temp replacement. But let me tell you, this amp is the shiznit. I always use high end car audio equipment in my vehicles but this audiopipe amp kicks ass. It def puts out the power if you use it correctly. The sq is unbelievable for a 150.00 budget amp. If it holds up and dosent fall apart or burn up, it will be one of my top 5 amp purchases of all time. I highly recommend this amplifier. Dont flinch because it says audiopipe. Its a little baddass amplifier. I might even purchase another.

I couldnt have purchased a better amp. this amp has exceeded my expectations. IM very impressed with the amount of power it produces. Even with it being turned just about all the way down, it makes my subs rumble just the way i like it. I seriously recommed this amp to anyone with 12'' subs.

This amp has plenty of headroom when you want to feed your bass needs if you have drivers that cant handle this kind of power you will definitely want to take time to have your system tuned properly or you will be buying new drivers soon after your purchase. This audiopipe 1500 does allmost all of its rated power but beware its very power hungry a better battery a stronger alternator a good supply of power is needed or you wont get what this amp wants to give you. If you want the best bang for your buck don't think about it do it do it do it.

Bought to go with my 12s and from what i saw online it is an amazing amp for the price. Anyone looking into buying a budget amp needs this!

Solid amp but needs better cooling.

Strong amp. Good bang for your buck. Liked the older model AP15001D better. This model gets hot and goes into protect even only running at 1 ohm with adequate electrical to back it. Adding a fan fixes the issue, but I think they could have done a better job on tooling the new heat sink, although it looks great.

I would recommend this amp for the budget minded basshead if you don't mind having to add a fan.

Pros: solid amp, does close to rated, very budget friendly

Cons: only the overheating issue

I really liked this amp. The adjustable freq on the bass boost made for some awesome sound. Drove the NVX I had it hooked to beautifully. After only two months it went into protect and wouldnt come out. Sadly I made the mistake of not buying from Sonic. The company only handles returns for 30 days. I had to deal with Audiopipe.
After waiting a week for customer service to get back to me(apparently they only have one and he was on vacation), I received a series of hoops to jump through and was then informed I would need to pay shipping BOTH ways. With the insurance to cover the cost of the amp, packaging (didn't have any lying around) this came out to almost $70. Half of what I paid for it.
Buy it from Sonic. They handle returns for a year which is how long most companies warranty their product anyway. Learn from my mistake, and my headache.

AP is the best!!

Very powerful amp! Ordered for my BD3 12 and it pushes it like its nothing. Amp is turned down under halfway. Going to order another BD3 12 to run on this amp, it should push both no problem at all! For the price audiopipe is the way to go.

Meh

Had to send the first unit back. It was shutting off and going into protect mode. Second one overheats on occasion especially at competitions. Good solid power but reliability is meh.
