Good

Good product overall there's nothing wrong with it. The highs were brilliant the mids were great but I wish there would be a bit more bass in these speakers. They are also not anywhere close to 165 watts and there more like 70 watts a pair so do not go more than 35 watts a speaker. I also tested them and played them at 40 watts each so 80 watts total and I smelled the voice coils burning and then dropped then to 35 watts each which is still loud so don't get me wrong

Audiopipe csl 1603a

Cheep sound and not really worth the time to install.!!!!!
I had the audiopipe csl 1603a in my car for less then five minutes and pulled them back out, I bought them to replace my 6 year old mtx's that finally gave out on me.!!
Iv been doing AUDIO system for around 15 years now and I know cheep is not always the way to go with AUDIO but I wanted to try something new so I went with the audiopipe 1603a 6-1/2" to see how they would do.!!
Well..... I found out.!
But here's the sad part I replaced the audiopipe 6-1/2's with a cheeper dule speaker rated at the same Watts/rms and believe it or not the dules sound better, so I'd give the audiopipe csl 1603a's NO STARS.!!!!!!!
SO if you're looking just for some noise and don't really care about sound the audiopipe csl 1603a's would work, but if you're looking for good sound I'd say look for something better than 1603a's.!!!

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying all audiopipe products are zonk, couse I do have some audiopipe 6x8's that are not bad at all for the price.!!!
