Good bang for the buck Subwoofer

I pulled the trigger and bought this Audiopipe subwoofer, learning that their top tier Subwoofers are built tough and sound good enough for the price. I wanted to save up for another brand (that shall remain nameless), but I forgot car insurance bill was coming up too. Oh well, cause I am satisfied with the subwoofer. My "eyecandy" loves low notes. It responds real well to them. It doesn't play the higher bass notes as well, especially on lower quality mp3 classic rock songs. I had a custom box built, and it requires a big one (probably why it loves lower notes). This subwoofer is loud, so the 96 dB S/N ratio rating seems pretty accurate to me. I have 800w RMS going to it @ 2 ohms and it slams. Also, the guy who built my box said my sub's build reminded him of the JL W6 subs (makes sense to me, smaller companies often build products similar to name brand products). So for the price, they are worth it. But I feel I would have got a better sound quality from the subwoofer I was eyeing, but at a higher cost.
