Good amp....

Over all the amp is nice , but the amp only really puts out about 35 to 40 watts per channel.....but it was easy to install and all the adjustments was easy.....I'll buy another for my subs soon...

great amp for the money!

I bought this amp to push the 4 Infinity Kappa series 6x8s I just installed in my 2009 Ford F-150 supercrew. This does a great job of producing clean usable power. I was not expecting near the sound quality and power out of this amp for the price. I was presently surprised. I don't believe the power ratings are correct, they only list max power ratings on this amp. But the RMS power was more than enough to drive the Infinity's to the max at only 3/4 gain. I would highly recommend this amp for someone wanting a little extra sound without spending alot of money.

Great Amp! But here are the facts!

I purchased this amp because of the price, spec's and name. First the price. The amp is worth the price. Great bargain! However the spec's are an issue. I spoke with the manufacture before I even ordered the amp. The actual wattage is: 30x4 @ 4ohms RMS!!! Now I was disappointed by this information but after a long conversation with the tech @ Autotek I still bought the amp. It's the name. The clarity of this amp at RMS is absolutely great for the price. Autotek recently introduced the AT series of amps for the entry level market. The quality of build and materials is all Autotek. They also stand by there product. I was sold. Now the secret to this amp is to match it up with the right speakers. Co-ax with 60~80 watts of capability is ideal, Especially if you run it at 2ohms. In closing this amp sounds way better than the factory amp in my 99' BMW 5 series. I will upgrade in the future but I am in no hurry because of the quality of sound.

Great budget amplifier

I have owned this amplifier for about six months. Like the other reviewers, I estimate its output is much less than advertised (obvious from the fuse rating), but still plenty for me. It's dimensions make it easy to hide under the rear hatch. I am very happy with this product. I only have one warning: don't use the speaker level inputs! I did this initially (because my stock head unit didn't have RCA jacks), but soon regretted it because of the quality of the sound. I purchased two line level converters (one for the front speakers, one for the rear speakers) and it made a huge difference!!!
