works perfect

I bought the atx2000.1 but since the specs are exactly the same I think the ata2000 should perform the same. I needed a budget amp to power two infinity kappa 10in sub's in parallel rated at 250 RMS each. This amp exceeds my expectations and that rarely happens! It brought out bass I didn't know these sub's were capable of. At two ohms its easily putting out 500rms with plenty of headroom and never gets beyond warm to the touch. It took a lot of tuning the various settings to finally get the tight punchy bass I like but man oh man it really thumps. I just don't know how long these kappas can take this kind of pounding but its fun while they last. Also the remote is smooth as silk and works flawlessly. I have the sub's in a tightly sealed dual .75 cu ft enclosur.

Nice amp

I got this pushing 2 Kenwood 12's in a vented box. It will take a while to fine tune it. Also, the remote gain will give you problems if you don't have it tuned right. I had it at one ohm and it got hot as hell. I almost burnt my hand and pretty sure the amp would've fried with prolonged use. Wired back up to four ohm and it beat with minimal heat produced. For the price it is a steal because it is a true one ohm stable. Just wouldn't do one ohm unless it's a quick competition or something.
