Nice Amp

This is a very nice amp it's clean and sound great ,I would recommend this amp .great price also.

Well worth it.

This amp great, had my subs booming. The price is the best thing about it, the store up the street from me was looking for much more money. This price with free shipping, BUY IT. Never had a problem with it, never went into protect mode, overheated or anything.

Great Amp

This is a good amp that never fails to deliver, i have never had a problem with it and it delivers a great amount of power to my 2 subs. It could be better if it had a switch so i could tun it down when i listen to country. But other than that, couldnt be better.

I had the older version of this thing, all the controls look the same, the heat sink is just reshaped. Seems to be pretty tough, makes me weary why they wont put rms power ratings. for 1000 watts, it doesn't put out much rms im guessing, have it powering a pair of 50 watt MB Quart speakers and it seems about perfect.

Decent Amp

If your just powering a small sub or two, this amp will get the job done. If your expectations on your sound system are high this amp isn't for you. Its a great value for anyone using this amp at its recommended power.

autotek great value

I have an old autotek streetmachine series 750 watt 5 channel amp thats pretty hard to find, and it is a great amp, autotek puts out good sound and the newer ones have a reasonable price, and it says maxx power because its powered by maxxsonics thats why they dont put it as rms.

perfect amp

I recommend this amp for any sub that has enough rms power to keep up with it I have mine hooked up to my 12" alpine bass line sub and its perfect hits hard and aquarate and amp hasn't got hot yet or distorted very pleased

Good Output

This product worked well for my friend who wanted to go for a cheaper build, in this build we used a pre-fabricated box, and a 10 inch subwoofer. The products used were a Sundown E-10 D2 subwoofer, and a Ground Pounder 10 inch aero-ported box. This amplifier certainly provides enough power to make the subwoofer move, the only problem being to get it really moving I have to set the gains a bit higher than I would like to so you will get the slightest bit of distortion. This doesn't become the only problem though as when I set the gains here it also caused the amplifier to produce a LOT of heat. The heat was then offset when I moved the gains back down and but it just before clipping. Overall good product for the price.

powerful amp in small box

Small box unit but strong bass kick. Really good amp for single subwoofer. Great price from Sonic Electronix too.

This amplifier is EVERYTHING you'll need.
It's 1000 Watts RMS.. and has very quality sound and power for the price.
I do several car installations, and I recommend this amplifier EVERYTIME. It has very good EQ's, and for the price.. it's a steal.
I have no problems with it, either. It does get hot, which is normal for amplifiers. Enjoy!

Great Amp!

Bought this amp to replace my fried Boston GT2200. I just finished hooking it up to my Boston G3 10 inch sub and this thing is awesome. I have it bridged down to 4ohms on a single sub and this is just as loud as my old setup that was two G3s bridged down to 2ohms. I payed 3 times more for my old amp; plus this one is half its size. I highly recommend this amp. Very pleased with Autotek!!!

Awesome

I was looking for an inexpensive amp to power and inexpensive sub. I am not at all disappointed with this! Considering the in this price range you either get half the power of this one, or if you want this amount of power from a premium brand, you pay A LOT more! I was expecting a light, cheesy amp but was very impressed when this came! It has a nice weight to it and lots of features. Sonicelectronix does an amazing job once again!

Hi, I'm the owner of The Capital Connection car audio and electronics in Austin TX.
The ATX1000.2 is a very solid and reliable amp as long as you wire it right, power supply and ohms. Do not wire any car audio amplifier with more than a foot of ground, it creates resistance negatively affecting your amp. Always make sure your ground is solid on and not loosely attached to a good source of ground. Your power wire has to be tightly attached on all connecting points.
If you pay attention you will see there are two 30A fusses on this amp, that's double the power than some of the higher priced amps out there.
I have used this amp for 1,2 and 4 subwoofer set ups with 12s & 15s.

this amp is a real good buy, it compares to name brands costing north of 150 for the same power output.

give it a try if its compatible with your subs ,ohm/power rating.

Good Amp For A Sub Or Two.

This is an excellent amp, I'm currently using it on two Hifonics HFX12D4. It gives them a fair amount of power not too little but a little less than what they should be getting.

The amps seems to put out 300 watts RMS at 4 ohms Bridged, Maybe just a little more. (350) 150x2 at 2 ohms and mid 70-100 at 4 ohms x2.

Worth the cost, clean sound, I'll be retiring this amp for two sets of 6.5 inch speakers.

Once I have the money to really step up into another level of car audio that is, until then this amp serves well.

The ONE thing I wish this amp had was a remote bass control rather than the bass boost on the amp itself, where I pretty much had to set it and leave it since I'm not gonna get out and go fiddle with the amp.
