Not bad but could be better

I bought this product about two years ago and I am not a big fan of it. It is a good starter amp but not much more than that. I have been using it on my 2 12" kicker comps and it does not push them like it should. It does not get as loud as it should. Also, when the weather get over 80 and i play the subs for over 15 minutes, the amp will go into protection mode. I would recommend a different amp and not this one.

Good amp

Good amp for the money. Does what it's supposed to do, what else can you really want?

Good value, but massively over rated on power

I ordered this amp a few months ago. I'm running a single 4 ohm Kenwood sub off it. It plays CLEAN, deep, but not very loud. I had to turn up the gain about three quarters and use a LOT of bass boost to get anything out of the sub. The sub is rated for 400w RMS and 1200w peak. It should of been quite a good match for this amp, but not so. I'm actually looking into getting a more efficient (in db@1w) sub that requires LESS power (something in the 200-250w RMS range).

On a more positive note, it always stays at a reasonable temp no matter how loud I play it, for long periods. Never had a shutdown. Very stable amp and for the price it still does OK. Just have reasonable expectations in regards to power output.

Great Value!!!!!

I bought this about five months ago and its working good no issues, i have it just for my two 12" Kickers and they bump with my radio up on max no distortion, only from my car speakers witch dont have an amp yet but thats my next buy. I would recommend this to a friend.

Powerful

This amp is great! It doesn’t over heat and it really delivers a big punch to my 12’s. It is well worth the money!

Solid amp

This is a pretty nice amp. Goes really well with the Kenwood KFCW112CS woofers. Definitely bridge the channels. Easy enough to wire and tune, just make sure your ground is good. Doesn't actually put out 1600 watts, but still a good amp. Would recommend.

Great product for a great price!

I needed a new amp to drive to Alpine Type S 12 inch subs. It does it with ease. Easy set up and the subs are pushing nice even on a low setting.
