Great amp for the right combination

Bought this amp for my 4runner running two kicker cvr 12 at 4 ohm load in a super bass probox. The sound wasn't the best it could be but at a price like this you couldn't beat it. Bottom line it hit hard. No amp to my highs or mids so they couldn't keep up. However i wanted to try this amp in my civic with an alpine type r 12 at 2 ohm in a ported box. I was very disappointed. It's very good for a 4 ohm load bridged but not 2 ohms. Also the stated wattage isn't 3000. But the price is not bad at all.

AUTOTEK IS AUTO AWSOME AMPS

I have been using Autotek since they came out!!!! When they first came out there PR department was not the greatest. They under rated the amps which was the BASS THRUST SERIES and I won every compation I entered in Hawaii, and blew all. And now I run the MM and love them and when my daughter's mom was pregnant with her I had my compation car and I use to pound the sounds. Especially DJ Magic Mike's "Feel The Bass and Feel the Bass 3, I shake buildings. And now I am building the sounds in my daughters 85 Chevy El Camino Lowrider I built and was feat in Lowrider Mag back in 1997 . We are redoing the sounds with Autotek ATX3000.2 pounding 2 Pioneer 12" compatition speakers and 2 Autotek ATX1200.4 for my 2 pairs of pioneer 6x9 and the second is for 2 sets of JBL Quarts mids and highs

Strong amp, but gets hot

I've had this amp for about three months pushing two 15 kickers at 4 ohms in bridged mode. This amp is strong and makes my 2002 Impala shake and rattle!! But, the amp gets hot, really hot. The bass only lasts for about 5 songs. My next step will be a fan set up. Hope the fan will work, if not, all it can be used for is small subs or mids. And to use this amp just for mids will be a waste of space. This amp is huge.
