ok for the money

it is pretty good for the money but it does not come with the alarm package so you have to buy it for more all it is is a remote start key less entry

This is vary handy because it works very well and if you wanted you can buy the other part to this where you can roll up your window by the remote.

Skeptical @ 1rst

Just had this installed @ our local East Coast Audio shop on my wifes 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee and was a bit skeptical at first because i have never heard of the brand but apparently DEI makes this the same comp that make Viper & Clifford. After installed I am a true believer, Works flawlessly every time, Definitely recommend it.

Worked exactly as it should

Purchased and installed this item myself. Note that you will need to ask for technical assistance installing this; half of the information needed to install is on a website that can only be accessed by Avital dealers. The technicians at Sonic made sure I got this information, and also give me helpful tips such as do not cut the factory harness to prevent future problems (i.e., strip and solder).

A lot of work to install, but it worked without any problems as soon as it was installed. Note that the remote starter is not immediate; the remote starter allows the fuel pump to build pressure prior to starting the car. It takes 10 to 15 seconds for the car to start after pushing the remote button. I was ready to start troubleshooting for problems prior to realizing this. Also note that since I installed this myself it has just the 1 year warranty given by Sonic and not a lifetime warranty. However, it cost me only 20% of what a dealer would have charged to install this item.
