Parrot Asteroid
Bought this for my wife's 2013 Corolla, which we deliberately bought with the Toyota stock audio system after having bought a RAV4 with the Toyota GPS/Head unit factory fitted and hated it from day one.
The Parrot, well, she loves it. Factory camera and steering wheel controls all work, easy to use and quick. Also very important, it looks good in the car, nice and clean. Not into lots of weird android apps, so she is just using the default ones that come preinstalled, but at the end of the day, its for in-car audio, gps, reverse camera and it does all that really well. (Note - you can side load APK files into the parrot)
Default GPS is iGo prime which comes on an 8G SD Card. As a GPS app, its okay and way, way better than the Toyota factory gps in my RAV. As the Parrot is android based, there are plenty of other GPS apps out there if iGo isn't to your taste. BTW, the GPS is really fast and accurate, no lag when operating with voice guidance.
Its not the latest android version, but that's not even relevant because this is custom built system for a specific purpose and it works very well.
Its also well made, it feels solid and everything about it, the connectors, the mounting brackets, bolt holes, case, front bezels, all look and feel robust and well made, not a bit like the flimsy chinese manufactured rubbish I see all the time as a repair tech.
About the only negative I have, the version of firmware available in Australia is about 3 versions behind the one in the UK/EU which means the latest apps in the Parrot Asteroid store wont work. Specifically there is a custom dashboard app which looks like it would really finish it off just nicely.

Works Like A Champ!!!
I bought this as an alternative to the one for a Kenwood/JVC harness; simply cutting off the resistor portion and it worked great.
