NOT so Great Value!!!!

This unit worked in my 2005 GMC Yukon SLT. Almost. I had two of them (returned for another), and it did allow audio, chimes, and OnStar. It also produced a hissing sound in my speakers which can be heard between tracks and especially in AUX, and it did NOT work to allow the rear seat DVD audio to play through the new radio. The rear dvd would product VERY faint audio (with alot of hissing getting louder with volume), unless the factory radio was installed. It's clear that some data needs to go over the class II bus to tell the dvd player to output line audio. In my opinion, its a very overpriced POS!!!

Great product

Worked as advertised except the dimmer light wire did not work and the rear entertainment only partially work. Installed in 2005 Hummer H2

works great, just as advertised

Easy install, one small problem that was solved quickly by tech support. Seems like a solid product.

Worked well

Used this to crossover my 2008 Hummer H3 factory radio to a Clarion NX602. Worked perfectly. The only question was about and extra hookup for an orange/white wire...head unit had only one, while harness had a lead off the chime unit and off one of the adapter plug. This has to do with illumination on the head unit. I called tech support and got a young man who said not to hook it up unless the head unit had two leads also or it wouldn't work. I hooked the head unit lead to the adapter plug lead, but haven't driven yet at night to see if the day/night illumination feature works. Regardless, its sufficiently bright to have a nice, clear picture on the head unit display, day or night. Everything else works perfectly. A little time consuming hooking all the wires to the radio harness, but in the end well worth it to just plug and play.
