It works

It works. Every once in a while there is a glitch, but if I turn off the car and turn it back on, everything works OK.

You need room for the box nearby the radio. Its not the easiest setup in the world. I had to add some RCA connectors to make it work for my setup. I also had to run a separate dimmer light for my radio (the harness from my car didn't have a dimmer wire).

intalled in my 05 gmc sierra...works great without issues so far. installation was easy as it came with a simple installation guide

I purchased the GMOS-04 for my 05 burban & the install was so easy , I would definitely recommend this product to anyone , for the price u just can't beat it , also if u install yourself u save about 400.00

Doesn't work properly

Order the product for my 2006 gmc can't get it to work sounds like it's muted or shorted out inside followed instruction check all connections still can't get proper sound not pleased at all

Axxess GMOS-04 makes it easy.

It was actually harder to find the right adapter from the dealer here in town than it was to hook this one up. It went together very easily and quickly and works flawlessly. I am quite pleased.

almost flawless

piece of cake... works great with my Bose system... only gripe would be level matching being separate for left and right channel.. some would call it a bonus. i would call it a pain... this is why stereo manufacturers include a balance feature in the head unit

This product I purchased works very good the price was very reasonable and works real good for my onstar in my Buick lacrosse.

GMOS-04

It is very easy to install. If you have an internally amplified sound system you do hear some interference. Overall the product is not bad, but it would be nice if it did not make so much noise past a certain volume level.

Very easy to install compared to other editions of this kit made by cheaper manufactures. Highly recommend.

The instructions on this harness could of used a little more detail but one quick call to axxess customer service and all my questions had answers. Just make sure you install on a week day during business hours.

i used this to install my pioneer and keep all the function and wiring in my truck stock with out doing a hack job and ruining my trucks harness i had no issues and it did what it says it does with easy install.

not pleased

Installed according to the vague instructions, from the get-go, the volume was low, turned the gain knob all the way up, volume still low. Figured I will deal with volume at a later date. The major complaint I have is this harness killed my battery, 3 times. I did some research on the internet and found that this is a major complaint along with the low volume. It surprises me that all the reviews on this site are positive.I went to another popular online electronics retailer and read the reviews on their site, mostly negative. I returned my harness and am trying to find another brand. not happy.

Lots of work to install but worth it

The product works as advertised and makes it a lot easier to just plug and play a new stereo into a GM vehicle.

Lots of crimping or soldering for install though (to be expected by pretty much anything of this nature).

Truth in advertising

Worked as advertised. Bought for 05 Tahoe with Bose system. Works in conjunction with steering wheel control adapter to retain all functions.

Never fixed my installation issue

They could not resolve my installation issue for my 2004 H2 Hummer. Bought whole new radio bundle from them for it per there web site. Radio still not installed. Now have to go to car stereo store to b pay and have them fix it.

Much needed product.

The product was easy to install to aftermarket radio. Color-coded wires were a match to the factory wiring harness.

Works as advertised!

I asked for a harness that would make aftermarket radio install a snap, and was referred to this product. Worked great. I wish the instructions were a little more detailed for a novice installer. There were some modules (that I ended up not using) that I had no idea what they were for. Would have been nice if these were spelled out clearer- but I figured it out.
