Excellent product
This device plugs right in to the existing stock stereo unit and turns a stock stereo without steering wheel stereo controls in to one that has controls on the column. I mounted mine on the plastic cover surrounding the steering column. It does take some time to install due to fact that you need to remove the stock stereo and steering shroud. There is one ground wire that needs to be connected. Placement on the plastic column cover is critical. This took the most time because you need to make sure the device is easily accessible and doesn't interfere with other column controls like cruise control, blinkers, windshield wipers and the ignition switch. You also need to make sure your legs are not touching the unit when driving. I purchased a separate Grom unit so I have bluetooth and an iPod controller as well.
