Works well.

I have purchased 3 of these, first one for my BMW - worked well and I got tired of moving it to my other car, so I bought another. I then bought one for my son in his Miata. I always leave it set on highway and turn the volume way down. My wife is a bit irritated by the false alarms, but I am so used to my route that if it ever goes off where it is normally quiet... there is someone there. We have done a few large trips, one on a holiday weekend and it helped me avoid a few tickets while doing some fairly high speed cruises. Not a ticket yet in about 2 years of frisky driving. A good purchase and great price for Sonic. Thanks!

Great unit for the price

After reading other reviews I decided to go with this product. I am very pleased with the range (I have picked up radar almost a mile in some cases). It seems to pick up signals other than radar in the highway mode but I'd rather it pick up more than less. Great buy for the price.

I've had this detector for almost one year to date, and it has saved me numerous times. It allows plenty of time to adjust speed accordingly. The instructions clearly define programming and mounting solutions and the unit is very easy to hear and read with its adjustable volume and its DIM feature
