really nice backup camera

I was pleasantly surprised how nice the finish was and also it weighed more than I expected. It's a solid metal fixture that easily bolted to my license plate. the camera angle is easily set and locked into place using to set screws. All the wiring was included and appears to be high quality.the picture is in color and looks great on my Kenwood stereo. I would and I have recommended this camera to my friends.

Just BAD....

The first cam lasted about 3 months, the replacement the same thing. NOT HAPPY WITH THE BOYO PRODUCT SO FAR. I will have to get it out of the BUMPER for the 3rd time and have it replace. (No Car wash or Bad Rain... car in garage)
Will NOT recomend this BackUp cam to anyone.

Hi! This is a great product. It serves its purpose. Sometimes you just need to clean the camera after raining or else the view is not clear

Reasonable Price... Good Value

This is a nice license plate camera over all. Obviously not the best in wet weather, but on a day to day basis, it get the job done. I have absolutely NO complaints with the camera.

I would certainly buy another one if the need arises.

Works good when it works

When I installed the unit, it worked perfect. About a month after install it started to cut out. I had all of the wiring looked over and everything appeares to be in good order. I think the problem lyes in the wire conector that came with the unit. The next time I have the truck on a hoist I'll be having the connector removed and have the wires hard wired.

Great Value and better product

This is a bargain for the price. Heavy duty metal construction, not the cheap plastic for the comparable price. Clarity is really good and works like a champ. Highly recommend for a nice backup cam if your on a budget.

Great camera for the money

Great cam, only downside is finish does not hold up well to harsh winters in mid-west.

VTL-422C rear view camera

I'm very happy with the rear view camera. Not to mount right under the license plate light (top of the license plate). At night I get whiteout.

Not sure if I would buy it again.

It is a nice looking product. I bought it as I read a few reviews that were good. I already had a back up camera in my in dash screen. I godd another to add to my edge insight as it would have a little different view. I looked good at first then stopped working. The power wire kind of got hot form looking at it and it stopped working. No reason why and not sure. So I unplugged it and am not using it.

works well

Gives a great view although it is hard to judge distances due to the wide angle of the lens. Objects are much closer than they appear. Other than that it works perfectly. No problems with car washes or anything else.

Decent camera for the price

Works fine, decent picture but the clear finish over the black is flaking off already. It does not have LED's to aid in nigh time use however it works OK with just the reverse lights on.

This was a perfect fit and on the back of my FJ Toyota. With the spare tire, placing it was a challenge. I was able to pull the wire through and come out to the tag plate. The camera is amazing and clear, for the cost and that was
amazing too. Thanks for a very nice and quality item, to complete my sound system. My wife want's one now on her new SUV.

I just bought this back up camera and installed it to my jeep...works really good, image is very clean, no pixels, no feed back, it is really easy to hook up and install...just love it!!!

BOYO Vision VTL-422C

This Backup camera is very stylish and has clean lines it is practically invisible on my vehicle, the clarity is nice and the adjustable camera eye is great. The only con I can state about this product is I wish it had night illumination, with this product your backup lights are your only illumination at night, besides if your applying your breaks. Over all I rate this product an 8.5 out of 10 and only because of it not having night illumination, when they create one with night illumination, they will be the best looking and top of the line back up camera out there, everyone will get one of these. I will buy these for all my vehicles that need a backup camera.
