Great upgrade
Purchased this system to avoid cutting into the factory harness and was hoping to gain more volume for highway listening. Everything installed just as it should no problem with speaker fitment or interconnect. Plugs into existing harness and routes thru existing hole in trunk to connect the amp. Very happy with the sound levels and clarity for 4" speakers. Not much bass but exactly what I expected. Fairly lengthy install as you must remove rear pods, seats, gas tank, and disassemble front fairing total time is 4-5 hours. For $300 it is one of the better upgrades to my 2005 venture. Would recommend and still considering the sub install as well.

AWFUL FITMENT
These speakers were a nightmare to alter and go on my 2005 Yamaha venture. I had to cut the tabs almost off the speakers to get them to line up with the mounting screws on the bike. Either the radio is too powerful or the speakers cant handle the radio but at high volume the speakers cut out. I figured after i cut the tabs they were non returnable so I'm on the hunt for more speakers.
