subwoofer for the f.j. cruiser

Unit works flawlessly. Would recommend over factory subwoofer.

Bazooka TMS8A-HP-FJ

Great product, better than the factory unit and less than 1/2 the price. Install was easy, but some factory harness hold-downs need to be moved before installing brackets.

FJ Cruiser Bazooka Sub/amp box tube

The sub works great and sounds great with my aftermarket head unit. When the bass's gain is set too high the whole back door rattles to make a for the un-nerving "buzz-thump." Some sonic foam padding in the door should alleviate this, but I just adjust the level down. The unit fits well and was easy to install the piece itself, but the wiring was a completely different story. The instructions for wiring it into the FJ 's rear space could be MUCH MUCH better. If your FJ did not come with the crappy FJ sub addon package, there is a pink color coded wire in your dash that you must splice. Also if you are using the Bazooka by itself then you must connect both the sub wiring connectors at the rear. This is not explained very well in the manual, but their customer service techs are helpful, but they can't see what you are doing and it's hard to explain over the phone.

Easy fix

It is a great after market product, I have checked around for a sub woofer and the cost was over 400.00+, so to have this item around 230.00 was great. The only problem I had was that it does not come with detail instructions, it is very simple pictures.

Not bad @ all Awsome.

I like this sub better than the factory ones.
1)Sounds very nice,
2)Easy to install like in 30min.
3)Not bad for the $$$.
4)You have to get the remote because it makes very big difference. Anyway you have to mod just a
little bit when installing.
