Pricey, but worth it.

The POS Mark Levinson amp blew in the back of my 04 LS430 with nav, and from most of what I read, there was no way to bypass the factory head unit and amp if you have the lexus nav system. You use your phone to navigate now, but unfortunately, You still need that factory touch screen to control your A/C. When you remove the plug from the back of the factory head unit, you'll get an error message on your display. That's where this baby comes in. You basically just plug it in where the head unit used to be, and boom - display fixed. It just sits there, behind whatever new head unit you get. Not only that, but it gives you leads for battery, acc, illumination, and inputs for left and right channels if you intend to continue using the mark levinson amp. If you're replacing the amp too, you will need to ignore those inputs and run rcas to the back of the car instead, along with your power cable from the battery. The gray bezel fits in the dash perfectly. No hacking, forcing, or bending. I mounted a JVC KW-R925BTS in it, and it fits beautifully. Note that you will be losing your useless, stone age, 6-cd changer and tape deck when you install this. You should not lose sleep over that.

Great stuff but....

I would highly recommend it to anybody who has the 2004-2006 models but the price is not nice but it's not Sonic Electronix call but from my research you but it directly from Beat-Sonic they charge full price other than that great stuff makes my car with upgraded speakers and subwoofer and of course my new head unit makes it night and day I love the stuff but not the price just kidding definitely will do business with ya'll
