Plug and play head unit installation kit for the 2012 IS250
If you are looking at this product you must own a 2nd Gen Lexus IS. This was the only plug and play kit for installation of an aftermarket head unit in the IS250. Removing the center AC vents was an absolute pain in the ass, and I've been installing stereo as a hobby for 25 years. Ended up breaking a vent louvre even after looking at online tutorials. I plugged in the unit after crimping the recommended connectors to my head unit. And.... my A/C controls wouldn't work. A call to Beatsonic got me a specially programmed box for my vehicle modified for me in Japan shipped quickly to me. I've never had such a high level of customer service with any product, ever.
I wish I could say the unit has been trouble free, but it hasn't been so. Occasionally I'll start my car and my A/C controls won't work. Shutting off the car and then restarting it has always made the controls work again. A minor quibble. Overall, I definitely recommend this product especially with Beatsonic's awesome customer service. It's pricey but technology isn't cheap.

If you have a Lexus IS (2nd Gen) and want to put in new Head Unit. Get this. Integrates nicely with OEM wiring. BeatSonic created a spectacular, high quality aftermarket kit to adapt the all of the extras built into your Lexus.
Sonic Electronics offers it at a lower price and shipped it out fast. BeatSonic's customer service is unbeatable in speed and reliability. Will I buy from Sonic Electronics again? YES! It's my new goto store for audio/video needs.
