Not so great

If you want a good looking box this is for you. But sound quality is not so great. Mids are decent and it thumps pretty hard; bass drums while listen to rock sounds good. Lows are are very diminshed and drop right off. It does not do my Alpine Type R any justice. Design and finish of the internal port is horrible. Ruff sharp corners all around and 4 sharp corners of wood at the entrance of the vent. These corners especially at the entrance cause very audible air turbulence. I cannot fathom why they would do this. The material is of good quality, its a good looking box. I switched back to a sealed box and the lows are wouderful. It my not be as loud but sound quality is so much better. I wouldnt reccomend this box for sound quality, thas just my opinion though. But Sonic has very fast shipping and it was not not damged.

Great box

This box is super nice and cool looking. The red face plate is definitely different so it looks sick. The only thing is that you have to make sure your sub will fit between the red face whole. Mine did not so I had to remove it and cut it so it would. I would still highly recommend this box.

looks great sounds great

The slot/vent/port style box seems to really make the lower notes carry a lot better than a sealed box... Sealed box seems to hit harder at times but has less range and doesn't hit the lower notes as well as the ported box.... I stayed with the ported because it sounds better to me, especially on the lower notes...
The color is mdf not plastic so it doesn't rattle, it looks great and sounds great

Good Quality For Pricd

I recommend this for anyone who wants good quality sound out of their sub. Downside to it was it had some chips in the wood on the face.
