Rear view recording mirror

This mirror, which was recommended by supplier, was well worth the fair price which I paid. Delivery was excellent. I had a local Dodge dealer install this product and they said that it was easy and they were impressed with the operating functions

great value for my money

I am happy with this camera it's pretty clear and it's easy to install if you know what your doing I don't have any problems with it it's great for the price I payed and is slim in size compared to the bulky expensive cameras.

The awesome russian vids on youtube inspired me to get a dash cam. I did not want another device to go with my phone and radar detector just dangling on my dash. This is a nice solution and its actually a lot better than I first imagined it would be. I got it installed in my ford truck and it works good. Haven't caught an accident or meteorite just yet. The video input works with my iphone 4 output to rca. Wasnt great for video watching but it was still kinda cool.

Cool product and I am sure I will be one of the first to post something cool to youtube from america. Ha

Easy installation...

installation can be challenging

Make sure your existing mirror can be removed easily or it could cost you $$$. I tried installing this on my 2011 ford Fiesta and removing the old mirror also took a chunk out of the windshield. Lesson learned, get the help of a professional if you don't know how to remove the old mirror. As for the unit itself it's very stiff and if you have multiple drivers adjusting it could be a problem. Due to the angle of my windshield and the fact that the camera does not tilt up/ down I find it shoots at more sky than road or the front of your car. Other than that it seems to operate as advertised.

worthwhile buying

This camera is a replacement for one by Crime Stopper which was very frustrating to use. It reflected sun glare when backing up and the colors were distorted. Night vision was a nightmare and even low light during the day proved a problem. the BELVA WAS A VAST IMPROVEMENT. colors were true to images, THERE WAS NO SUN GLARE AND NIGHT VISION WAS MUCH BETTER. I AM GLAD I PURCHASED THIS UNIT AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE WHO WANTS A GOOD CAMERA AT A REASONABLE PRICE.

The unit arrived in excellent condition and three days sooner that projected. Everything worked great. I did have to buy an extension cable to reach my Edge monitor because the original cable was about eight feet too short. Other than that I was more than satisfied. I would highly recommend this company.

This is a great product, it stands up to rain and harsh weather with no issues, has great clarity with a wide angle and the night vision works fantastic! I would strongly recommend it. The only thing I dont like is that there is no relearning system when you get close to an object.

Great Camera...Great Price

For the price I couldn't believe the quality. This actually comes with a metal frame. The Infrared LEDs on camera make seeing at night easy. It's not night vision but my reverse lights give you plenty to see.

Install was easy I didn't have to drill any holes in my car. The metal frame adds weight, I have a sub in my trunk and it rattled less than the cheap plastic unit I replaced.

Plan on buying a second for my wife's car.

good for the price

The unit was easy to install, though the manual could use a little beefing up to explain the symbols and operation. The first unit I purchased was non responsive so I purchased a second and it works properly. I called the help line and they are going refund my money upon return.

Good value, good display even at night

My only wish is that it came with guidelines for distance, but I'm sure I'd have to pay a higher price. While I'd never completely rely on a cam to know what's behind, it's just a nice aid to have. My JVC double-DIN head unit had the capability, so I figured take advantage of it

The camera was fairly easy to install and worked amazingly for the first 1.5-2 years. The picture quality was a mazing but... It started acting up when I washed the truck and I believe the infrared crapped out. It still works good if there's no light hitting it.

nice camera for the money

Very good design and well made license plate frame. Sharp picture.

Will not record more than 30 seconds

I have had this for a year now and I'm very disappointed. I wish I had returned it immediately.
My main problem with this unit is that it will not record more than 30 seconds of continuous video.
You can change the record time in the menu, up to 5 minutes, but it simply does nothing.
No matter what I set it to, all the vids are 30 seconds long, and THERE IS A 2 MINUTE GAP BETWEEN VIDEOS. I would be OK with the 30 sec videos if there was maybe a 5 sec gap, but This is useless as there is significantly more "OFF" time than "ON" time.
If I ever need the video for anything serious, chances are it will not have recorded the incident.
Other reviewers have the same problem.
Otherwise all the functions seem to work.
