Pretty decent for the price

Purchased this for my daily driver while my project is off the road. I like it pretty much! A subwoofer is only as good as the enclosure home you make for it. The enclosure is pretty small, obiously it's undertuned for a SVC 12", but still gets the job done. Won't shake people's bodies as you go by them but the response inside sounds nice and clean. If you're looking for quick bass, this is it!

Is it just me?

This subwoofers bass response is pretty slow. Anything with fast kick becomes a rumble. I have had a closed enclosure sub before and maybe thats more for me

This system isn't gonna shake the car next to you but that is not what I wanted. I wanted to enhance the sound in my car. This worked perfectly. The price is right for an entry level system especial considering it included everything.

I drive a suv and If you are looking to add some extra bass to your system this is it. Now people won't be able to hear you from miles away but it will be more than enough bass for you and your passages. At first I had this baby facing the rear and it sounded weak. So I turned it around toward the front about three inches away from my rear seat and now its booming. I actually only have the gain turned up only about a third of the way.

for the price, you cant beat this thing. the subs really hit hard and its super easy to install plus it has all the wiring. if you watn something that isnt some crazy bass monster, but still slams this is the one for you.

I have had this system in my '96 Cavalier Z24 for almost a year now, and honestly, it hits harder, and the sound quality is amazing compared to the other systems i have had that where within the same price range. The quality and performance of this setup is very well done and i would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a good quality and sounding sub/amp combo for a fare price and not get duped into something that isn't close to what they payed for (it has happened to me plenty of times in the past). This product hits harder then the two 12's i previously had so i am VERY satisified with this purchase.

Worth It!

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a beginner package. Everything needed is included in the package, at a great price. Had it installed at a local shop for $85. Drive a little Chevy Cobalt, with a Sony headunit and 4 new speakers (that I also purchased from Sonic). Bass was missing though, so finally got around to upgrading.

This sub/amp package gets the job done. You won't be winning any competitions. You won't be heard from a block away. Personally, from the inside of my car, my bass now thumps, my mirrors vibrate a bit, and I can hear and feel my music. Exactly what I wanted! This sub/amp package is not overpowering (but it is loud). Definitely worth it. I have my 4 speakers handling all the vocals, so it's loud and clear, and my sub running the bass. Nice combo.

To each his own...I just wanted to complete my car stereo experience. If you want to impress the whole neighborhood with how much money you spent on a system, then look elsewhere. If you want to improve your ride, and make it more enjoyable, get this! It's a clean looking unit.

Note: Only had it a few days, but seems like we'll get along just fine. Gave durability 5 stars, but that remains to be proven.

Pros: Cheap, quick delivery, amazing service from Sonic (as usual), easy install, all included, sounds great, included bass knob is nice touch

Cons: as long as you know what you're getting and you're expectations are appropriate, no real con's in my book.

Impressed

This item was a great buy for what I was looking for. I needed a complete package at an affordable price and I got a lot more than expected. The system sounded good. I was sold a off brand navigation system and the sound was good now I changed it to name brand and this amp really does its job. Then I decided to put dynamat on my trunk. This makes a world of a difference people. Take notes please. To say the least I am happy I decided to give this item a try. At first I had second thoughts but their shipping is so fact they already had it in route within the same day. Wooow Great customer servcie too. Can't beat that with a stick.

Great set up

Bought for my son's first car. I was surprised how well it worked and how hard it hit. Doesn't rattle your bumper off but works very well. I have a 10" jl and a 500w zapco in my car that runs at 300w and I was jealous. Was going to buy another set up my other son's car but he got a hand me down from his step dad.

I absolutely love my 12' Belva speaker! Not too much noise on the outside with clear loudness on the inside. It's perfect for anyone who wants something simple that can hit as hard as the other ones! It's also very easy to install and fits perfectly in my hatchback

Exceeds expectations.

I was very impressed by this set up. I didn't think I'd be getting much for the price but I was shocked. I have paid for much more expensive equipment. Hands down this is the best bang for your buck ive seen. It won't shake your mirrors and Windows but will put a bunch of bass in the cab. I've got it in the trunk of my 96 Jetta. I couldn't be more pleased with what I got for what I paid. If you're looking for good budget bang, BUY THIS!

Belva BPKG112v2 Complete Amplified Bass Package

This is a great package for the money. It exceeded my expectations. I have to be honest, I was very skeptical about the quality at first, but after installing it and using it, I can say it's worth the money. This is an excellent starter package for anyone looking for some bass. It's not for winning competitions or annoying your neighbors, so if that's what you're looking for, this isn't for you. What I'm trying to say is, don't purchase this expecting to hear it across the parking lot or do any hair tricks, that's not what it's for. (I actually purchased this because I live around a lot of older/retired people, and I don't want any noise complaints from them.) What it does do is add that little bit of thump that your stock audio system is lacking, and it does it well. The wiring kit is great. The wires actually have plenty of metal, it's not all rubber like some kits. It's also really nice that the amp has high-level inputs. I didn't need an LOC or the RCA's, I was able to tap right in to my speaker wires. The only con for this is that the port tuning leaves much to be desired. Do yourself a favor and plug the port with something. You'll notice a tremendous difference. In all, great buy if you know what to expect.

Little box, big punch!

I've been looking for a set up in which I could feel the sound but not advertise it 5 plus cars back. Also one that didn't take up all the space in my 2015 Silverado LT double cab. This Belva 12" kit showed up on my screen for less than 200 bucks out the door. Took a chance and ordered up. First thing notice is when I picked it up from FedEx and it had good weight to it. Second, this was a perfect (woofer) fit between the back seat and the front center console and snug between the back of the front bucket seats which still can slide back. I've been running amplifide sealed woofer box's which where good but not moving the air enough. All the wiring was there already and an easy install of the Belva. Third thing notice after firing this baby up(had the woofer staring me in the face) my hair had the beat of the Belva thump!!! Yea boy!!! Now I don't recomend this to be waisted putting it in any trunk which will muffle out the true sound and feel. Doesn't have the power for that, in the cab of a truck is ideal because of smaller space to move air thump around a bit. Also I wouldn't crank this hard after reading all the views but, it's more than enough for me in my Silverado box. I have every thang on the amp set about half up. Dont forget to break the woofer in before the heavy pounding. This is not a street thumper, and the screws on your vehicle will stay tight!!! Hope this Belva will last me long. Stay healthy everybody! ROCKIT!!! JIM

I purchased this combo because of all the 5 star reviews.. Well I'm quite disappointed. I wasnt looking for a lot of bass but my door speakers literally hit as hard as this subwoofer. First off, a sonic electronix sales rep told me this combo runs at 300-400 watts rms. There's no way. I set the gain with a volt meter. I took 200 watts rms and multiplied it by the impedance. So 200x2. I then took the square root of 400 and set my gain until the voltmeter had a readout of 20 volts ac. It barely hits and it definitely doesn't hit low notes at all. Trust me, look elsewhere if your in the market for a new system.

The best decision you can make

i wasn't expecting an incredible subwoofer when I ordered this seeing as it was only $160, i was just looking to fill in some of the lower notes, but it blew me away. the quality of the subwoofer and the box itself is terrific and it came with more parts than i needed to install it. it didn't come with a great installation manual but the internet exists so that's not a problem. the remote and everything works great. It sounds so smooth and clear with no clapping noise or delay in the notes. It fills my mid-size SUV with more than enough sound and i could not be happier. definietly go with the 12inch!

Awesome sub for the money, Can't run it too hard for too long or it'll start getting really hot, bu that's just because of the amps RMS handling. Comes with EVERYTHING you need to hook it up. I've had it for a few months now and I love it. I have it in the backseat of my extended cab F-150 and it'll shake the rear view mirror on my windshield. Awesome sub, no complaints, worth every penny. Don't hesitate on buying one.
