Nice Value/Money

The leads are problematic, but the problem can be easily solved. The main reason is low depth of the cone and basket. The driver itself is fantastic, great sensitivity and very high Bl factor which means very fast and accurate bass.
Mechanical excursion is low and suspension compliance is high, so you need to use subsonic filter set to +-45Hz and for power over 300W also good quality amp with high damping factor.

great driver

i found that this driver got loud with only a little power. i have mine in a 6th order bandpass getting 650 watts and i personally hit 149.8dbs at the db drag a few weeks ago. it is also one of the most musical drivers i have ever owned i had it in a sealed box 1 cuft and loved the sound quality.

Buyer beware!

I just received this sub & installed it into a 1.25 cu.ft. sealed enclosure, powered it with 440 clean Soundstream watts. I can't get maximum volume out of this sub because it suffers from the dreaded "tinsel lead slap" on the back of the cone. It seems funny to me that almost every other manufacturer has found a creative way of dealing with this problem, Beyma just pretends it doesn't exist. I am currently waiting for my RMA from Sonic so I can order a better sub (any other sub would be better). Do yourself a favor, dont buy this sub. I promise you it will be a disappointment (unless you mount it in a bandpass box, where you wont hear the horrible slapping/cracking sound).
