Don't be a Punk(t)!

I purchased the Blaupunkt Chicgago IVDM-7002 from Sonicelectronix, received my order in 4 business days (confirmation and shipping), and installed it with my FREE accessories the same day. Here's what I have found. First of all, Sonicelectronix.com has THE BEST customer service department of ANY online electronics distributer. Although the hold time on the phone can be a little long, I understand why. (The wait,however, was never more than 5 minutes). Their customer service department will help you with any questions you have and are very friendly. Secondly, this product is the cheapest, BY FAR, on Sonicelectronix, and I have found that most products are more reasonably priced here. The unit itself has an awesome installed appearance, maintaining its status as a good looking CD/DVD unit, but also appearing slightly "OEM-Esque" when closed. The face is detachable, which is also a very good feature for these units. The picture is very good, ranking with Sony and Pioneer..(Alpine picture quality is best, bar-none). For the price, the unit is unbeatable. It has 5...not 4....channel internal amplifier, which makes my stock highs sound like JL Components..(ok maybe not THAT good, but still). The unit offers many audio settings and controls, but still manages to keep it to where "normal folk" can comprehend it. It is the same way with picture control. I have only found 3 dislikes: 1)The motor on the disc eject seems to be a little weak, (it didn't want to spit out my Journey Greatest Hits DVD). 2)The screen motor froze on me once in a position that It wasn't supposed to be in..(I was messing with the tilt and pressed the on/off button at the same time, could have done something.) 3)The remote is HUGE...(Bigger than my Home TV remote. All in all, this unit is a great buy. It offers great picture, superb audio control, and many features that are not available on any unit this price..(except touchscreen =(.....) All in all, BUY THIS UNIT if you are pressed for cash and don't mind not having T.S....you WON'T be dissapointed. Face it, the only other choices you have in this range are Boss and Pyle...so be the BOSS, don't buy a PYLE of junk, go with BLAUPUNKT!
