great little amps
I actually have 2 of these in 07 GTI. One powers 3-way separates with 2 crossovers (a 2 ohm load) in my front doors. The other is bridged to a dual voice coil 10" sub wired to 4 ohms located in the hatchback. I am very happy with the amps. They have very good clarity, no noise, and lots of power for their size. This is my first system using class D amps. They are so small and run so cool that one is mounted under the front passenger seat under a plastic cover that used to house the Sirrius tuner. The other is mounted under the hatchback floor in a storage cubby hole. Other than the subwoofer enclosure, the system is completely stealth. I did not use the "plug and play" feature because I also replaced the factory head unit with a Pioneer touch screen, so I cannot comment on that feature. But it sure seams like a great way to go if you don't replace the HU, even if the adapter cables are a bit pricey. I highly recommend these amps. Also Sonic Electronix has some of the best prices you'll find and great customer service.
