I installed these behind my 6.5" door speakers. They definitely make positive a difference in the sound produced. They also protect my speakers from the moisture that gets into the door past the window seal.

Great baffles

Honestly I've never used baffles in the past and I like the end result. I only used this on my rear speakers in my 2017 Ford Mustang and I may end up buying another two for the front doors (i didn't have enough for more). I used this with the spacers, boom mat and new speakers. The end result is a nice crisp, clear sound coming from my system.
I do recommend!

Excellent Sound

I installed these behind my NVX 6.5" speakers, and it makes a huge difference to the old sound. I also used FatMat sound deadener in the doors. Better sound quality, less rattles, and all for a cheap price.

Boom Mat 6-1/2" Speaker Baffles

I does whats intended for. I use them to seal off the trunk in my rear dash and the provide a nice little thump. The Boom Mat acts like an enclosure..So for me. That's two benefits out one inexpensive product.

Inexpensive option to help keep my Alpine SPS-610Cs dry in my front doors in my '17 Accord Sport. Just make sure you cut out a small section of the baffle that faces the bottom of the door, so the speakers will still perform in a freeair setting while keeping them dry. If not, it is possible for the speakers to sound muffled as the baffle will act like a sealed enclosure. Also, as always, Sonic Electronix has the best prices and ships fast.

great product. I have used these twice now and so worth the money i paid giving the component speakers i have using these with are over $329 for a set and want them to last and sound good. the 1st set I didnt need to make a hole in them as they sounded much better with no hole. but with this set it sounded aittle better with a quarter sized hole in the bottom of them so water couldnt get in and if for some reason it did atleast then it could drain out. Almost a must have for long term use and great sound. I will say that after installing them the speakers sounded 5 times better the only thing is i cant tell if it was this or the sound damping because i installed both at the same time

Very disappointed

I bought 4 new speakers installed them and they sounded ok. I received these and on my next day off I installed these and I could not tell any difference at all. Played the same songs and my wife and kids all could not tell any difference. Second time I've tried them.
