Good buy

I bought get this radio for my father in law and my husband. They both wanted a radio that would allow them to use it their phones hands free. After installing the radio in my husbands car and testing it we did have to replace the speakers. Once we did that the person calling him could hear much better. Everything worked fine in my father in laws car. For an item as low prices as this is is well worth the value and if you are looking for a cheap radio this one is perfect.

Great deal!!!

I had bought my son his first car. The factory stereo was shot. I know he has a lot of music on his iPod and no CDs so I was looking for an inexpensive stereo with Bluetooth. THIS was priced just right! I was afraid that because of the price, the quality wouldn't be great. But when I installed it and turned it on for the first time, I was blown away! Paired up the Bluetooth with my iPhone and was surprised yet again! Even more so the next time I got in the car. The Bluetooth immediately started playing the same song on my playlist that was playing when I got out of the car! My JVC in my car doesn't do that! I highly recommend this stereo! Great product and was here within five business days!

You get what you pay for, to be fair. It's a very affordable unit, but it lacks a lot of essential tuning mechanisms. The built in EQ only allows you to adjust bass and treble, so it's not that different from a stock system. It says it's rated for 50W per channel, and my speakers are rated for 80W RMS, but it begins to distort audio at very high volumes. The hands free and bluetooth work fine for answering calls and skipping songs playing off your phone, but the microphone doesn't pick up very well, so I'll often answer a call with the button on the stereo and then switch to speaker on my phone so they can hear me. It was a decent replacement for the tape player in my car, but I will be upgrading to a more expensive unit as soon as possible.

The Boss 611 seems to be a good quality radio for the price of the product. Easy to install but wiring instructions could be more precise. I had to call tech support to complete the wiring as I did not want to hook up wrong wire and damage the radio. USB port is nice as you can load 1000 songs on USB drive.

Radio was easy to install using the wiring adapter for my Ford Ranger. Great sound much better than my original radio. Really like the Bluetooth phone feature.

Takes a while to get used to. Over all, very good. Only complaint is, volume knob is WAY to small. And clock doesn't stay on.

Decent deck for the price

I needed a radio to fill the hole in a dash and for under $40 where can you get a decent looking deck with Bluetooth. Not the greatest sound but again if your on a budget you can't beat the price.

Great Radio

I replaced a JVC with this radio and was very pleased. Always had problems with the JVC not being able to turn up or down the volume, and the detachable face falling off. But this BOSS even sounds better than the JVC.

Great value for the low cost

Purchased this to replace factory stereo in a fusion. It came with a mounting bracket and the correct wireing harnesses needed. Saved my self and easy 100 for installation from a professional.

This was a BIRTHDAY gift for my son only problem did not have the adapter pigtail to plug into existing car wearing. Also little plastic graments on installation keep slipping out other wise works great I want one.

Great radio for the price

I have a 99 Honda Accord and wanted something that I can use Bluetooth and also play music on my phone and I feel this radio is good for the price point. I didn't have trouble figuring out how to work it or anything I had someone install it but I feel like it is worth the money.. the only con is the radio isn't not always clear on some stations mainly the ones I like but it's ok because I use my phone most of time.

good radio for the buck!!

got this radio for my daily driver honda, because i needed one bad! this thing does what it says it will do, bluetooth usb and aux. i did have to reset it once because of the bluetooth wasnt pairing up with my iphone but after i did havent had a problem since , if anyone is looking for a good radio for a daily driver this is it!

4 channel pre-amp output is great. Bluetooth input is wonderful for link with smartphone for Pandora. AM / AM and lots of presets. Much better than the factory radio in my mew yacht. All that for $40.

This is a cheap head unit, and it works well. It has bluetooth, an sd port, a USB port, and an aux jack, so it accomplished most things that people need. Plus, it's an easy install, provided you have the harness to match your car's stereo.
However, there are a few drawbacks. The bluetooth has very bad sound quality. It is very garbled. The backlighting behind the face of the unit is extremely bright, and there is no way that I could find to dim or disable it, leading to strain on the eyes at night.
Overall, this is an entry level head unit that does everything I want in a decent manner. I think it is very much worth the price.

So far so good. I bought this for my 1999 Toyota Camry. It doesn’t fit (there is a large gap in the console), but I have the car for reliability not to look pretty. I got 2 eyelets welded on the thin metal casing so it could be safe to say it still fits the car :) when the correct wiring harness came I wired it all up, and it works beautifully. It has options for everything you need (base, right, left, front, rear, treble, etc). It even has a “loud mode” that makes the base feel 2x as better, and louder. Don’t go to maximum unless you wanna blow all your speakers. This even has options to change your time from standard to 24-hour. You can change your lighting to low, medium, and high. None of my interior lights work, so if I need to see I switch the lighting on to highest (yes it’s that bright, it lights up most of my car). Don’t do it at night while driving though, it can be pretty blinding. I have tried out the USB, aux, and Bluetooth. I have no clue how it can have this many features with this price. I charge my iPhone with the USB port and use the Bluetooth feature for my music. Unbeatable price for the quality of this item. I have no cons for this item because I upgraded from a 23-year-old factory car radio I’ve been using my whole life so I don’t know how it can get better than this lol. Hope this helps all you that read this long essay :)

The Boss 611UAB is a very affordable and functional replacement radio for my 1997 BMW e36. In fact, it was a PERFECT FIT! I did not need any additional trim.
I note that it was also very helpful that Sonic Electronix included the correct BMW harness gratis.

Price lured me in to look at the radio and the reviews gave me confidence to purchase it. Shipping was fast and it came with all the face plate adapters, etc. I went back online (Amazon) and ordered a Scosche harness adapter for my year F150 to make the unit plug n play. Unit was simple to install and sounds great and works well. Love the USB and AUX jacks, it's something my 1995 Ford lacked.
