Good buy for the money

I have never been a Boss Audio fan, but have change my mind now. I have always used well known brand, but i just have to try these woofers out.
I have an installation with 4 of these woofers now on an Digital Designs amplifier and i Works great.
I am using them in closed Box and are playing 143,7dB at pure Music with no problem at all.
Very tight and smooth bass, playing nice at 53Hz
Highly recommended for the price.
Good woofer from Boss Audio System.
I am a pro and not an amateur car stereo builder.
So stop calling Boss for trash until you actually have tryed them out with pro install.

Actually this subwoofers are not bad. For the price/what you get they are worth every penny. Recommended for Budget install.

I was going for a budget system but I am blown away by the performance of this sub for only $50! It could hit a little harder but I need a bigger box... I am very satisfied with this product!

Let me just say that I understand this is a boss subwoofer, and it isn't meant to be worth anybody's time, but I need to bring this to someone's attention. These specs are utter bull. 1200w rated power on a 2" voice coil is ridiculous. An fs of 28 hz is equally retarded, when the frequency response is listed as 28-1500. (because I really need my sub to play anything from 100-1500.......) A qe of 1.25 is beyond anything I've ever seen measured and the fact that an re of 1.8 is listed for a dual 4 subwoofer really says a lot. Stop buying this trash people, spend a few dollars and get something actually worth your time, money, and labor. Do a little research, there are great values out there, but this is not one of them. Join a forum and actually learn something, you might just be surprised out how easy it is to set up a proper subwoofer system.

Boss have proven to me multiple times now that they're reliable no matter what others say! The AR12D is outstanding, especially the power!!!!
