Software error

Software locks up at random times rendering the unit inoperable, then you have to reset or power-cycle the unit. Other then that, the unit sounds and looks good.

Good Buy

So far I have not had any trouble with this receiver. Don't be confused by the types of files that it will play. It will not play .mp4 files even if other sites say that it will. However it will pay .avi so you can convert all of your vidoes to that format and watch them. The sound is great. I like the details and look of the screen. Bluetooth works great as well.

the radio seem to be very good, the only thing i don't like is that the face plate sits on my a/c / heater controls when I have the face plate attached and it was supposed to fit a 2001 Dodge Dakota quad cab.

Good stereo boss

Its a good looking stereo, performs perfectly. Only thing I didn't like was it doesn't play mp4 format from a flash drive. But DVD music videos do work on it.

Fits nice and is easy to use while driving. The accompany installation kit and wire harness made it very easy to install. Great sound!

Boss radio

Very good radio I've like it lots of features too. But I've didn't realize my gear shift would get in the way, too close could barely my the gear shift cause radio was so close to it. But other then that it's a very, very good radio.

So far so good! Was easy install. Couple of key reasons I went with this unit! 1 was cause the face of unit sticks down not up as most units like this. 2 because the face removes for security. I havent had any issues out of this unit thus far. One thing I did notice & not sure if this is normal cause didnt see anything about it in the owners manual is when you first turn on unit it wont take a Disc of any kind??? But after running for about 5 mins or so, like it has to warm up! Then it takes a disc, Cd,or Dvd! Thats only thing about it that I wondering if normal but did get extended warranty so not to worried as long as stays working. So for price I got it for & being what it is:Cd,dvd,bluetooth, & removable face! You cant go wrong.

2 unit in less than a year

First unit stared having a problem with the display. Sometimes it would display sometimes it would not. Would have to start/ shutoff the truck 3or 4 times it get it to work. Bluetooth is a joke.

Warranties that one out now this one is doing the same thing. I will be replacing it with another brand
