Sound great for the price

Recently installed these for my uncle in a 91 Silverado. These were replacing his blown dash speakers. They aren't any high quality speakers but for the price are great. Definitely sound better than his stock 91 dash speakers.

Good product--GREAT service

Replaced in-dash speakers in my Jeep, so I was looking for something that I could hear over road noise on the freeway with the top off. One of the first pair had a glitch, but at $20, I don't expect perfection. Customer support was awesome and a replacement was sent out really quick. Good sound. Lots of oomph for a little speaker.

These are great for your highs, I did add bass blockers , no problems being using them for a couple of months.

Alright so my girl got a 1996 Pontiac Sunfire. It had the crappy factory speakers and a nice head unit so I said away the factory speakers I wanted to replace the entire factory system for under 50 bucks and I saw these. I did not think they would be that great but I figured anything was better than what was in the vehicle. They got here in less than 24 hours. they fit perfect and they actually sound amazing! the bass is way more than what i thought it would be! Im very impressed and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to save money and have nice things.

worst speaker i ever had

The speakers didn't last as i thought they would. After regular use the speaker just stopped working. Both speakers will work if you press them in but I cant hold them and listen to them.

JUNK!!!

I bought these speakers from your company and was COMPLETELY dis-satisfied! The lasted less than a WEEK. And I don't even play my music loud. Perhaps, I did when I first installed them to see what they sounded like but after that, NO! Had to make "alterations" to get them to work in my dash. That was a bummer!! I have thrown them in the trash and replaced them with a pair of Sony's which I have been completely pleased with. I saw no need to request a refund or replacement as I guess, "You GET what you PAY for"?!! Thanks, but NO THANKS!!

Boss CH4630

These speakers were purchased to provide acceptable sound to the HDTV in a small motor home. Their performance, in conjunction with an outboard power amplifier, is excellent. they provide undistorted sound at higher than usable sound level. The bass response is excellent for such small speakers. They are an excellent choice for this use.

Great bang for the buck

I ordered these through Sonic, and the first pair I got were defective, the plates where the wires plug in weren't attached properly. I had already used the wires, but I packaged it up and shipped it back, and they gave me full credit. I then got another pair, and have been enjoying the sound for the past 2 months. The ratings are a lie (they distort before 50W rms) but they can put out a good amount of power, especially for 4X6s

Overall, Boss isn't great, but these would be my recommendation to anyone looking for aftermarket 4X6s on an amp, and I would recommend Sonic over anything else!

Good Speakers

These are good speakers so far they have not quit and its been a week, they are not very loud when it comes to mounting them in a door, but in a box they sound 10x better. These speakers should be used for vocals only without using bass blockers they will blow in a couple of weeks.

Excellent sound and excellent price!

These speakers replaced the factory speakers that were blown. If I knew now how these would perform, I would have purchased these a year earlier. They are powerful and yet very economical. If the front factory speakers start acting up, I will replace them with these. The fit is not perfect, but behind the door front, it looks great.

Fit nice, not great performance

I bought four of these to replace my stock speakers. They fit well. 1 of the four didnt work till I re-soldered the connection. They have little to no bass response. Very good high sound. Shipped quickly.

Good sound for the price

I installed these in the dash of my 93 GMC Sonoma (s-10). I used the factory grills with my truck, and pulled the dust screens off of the oem speakers. Got them to fit with only slight modification (had to "widen" a couple of mounting holes. As far as the sound is concerned, don't expect $250 sound from these cheap of speakers, but for the money, I am very satisfied. I've had them for 6 months now with no problems.

They lasted about one month then blew up one week apart using a factory radio I would not recomend.

Sounded okay when I first installed them. My factory speakers had better sound though. Blew after 2 weeks. Very disappointed. I had to buy new ones.

I broke the cardboard that holds the speaker wire clip or whatever youd call if. Maybe it was my fault, i dont know. That part is a little flimsy. The sound quality is great for the price.

Boss Ch4630 Speakers

Product does the job but not much in the way of bass sound. I would think with a unit with such high ratings in RMS and peak they could handle more power and better sound.

They are the speakers you are paying for. I have a 2004 Chevy Malibu Classic and I am a teenager. My music is pretty average for a teen, not blaring, but when I like a song I will turn the radio up. The speakers are already starting to crap out a little bit. They are "scratchy" if I do say so myself.

Not much for a bass but happy for the price! They do kinda scream! A+ if you like talk radio.

I bought these speakers to replace the original speakers in my truck which couldn't handle the power of my new radio. These speakers handle the power just fine and sound great!

Very cheap made speaker. Don't run any more than 50watts to them!

Yes they fit perfectly in my blazer and were a lot better sounding than the stock speakers. I'm using a 80x4 planet audio double din and it absolutely blew them. Yes I used bass blocker and didn't even set it on "loud mode". I also lowered my EQ to -7 all across bass frequencies for them specifically. They still couldn't handle the 80 watts. I wouldn't recommend them even with a stock deck to be honest. Just get yourself some D4S 4x6 and do minimal modifications to fit right. D4S 4x6 is literally a mind blowing difference. Just spend the extra cash and save yourself some money in the long run.

I bought these after a terrible experience with hifonics brand 4x6 speakers. For a dollar more, go this route. I can't promise that I didn't get a faulty pair, but I wasn't trying to explain how they busted, that I never hooked them up to an amp, etc... I just bought the boss brand. After a week of torcher from a dual brand deck maxed out they're hanging in.
