Good for Mids
I've had this Boss CX950 for about 6 months. It's setup in 2-channel mode, driving 2, 8 inch woofers, 8 ohms each. X-over 160Hz to 2.5Khz.
It does not get hot or ever shut off. Good signal to noise ratio at high volumes. Mounted it upside down in the trunk. Although, it meets my needs, it is not comparable to Rockford Fosgate amps. Power ratings on the Boss CX950 are greatly exaggerated. I would not use this amp for subwoofers.

A lot of power
This amp had more power than I could even begin to use with my 10's. I loved the bass boost control but for better control of the entire amp the remote should have included a power control option too.

CX950 update
Well all in all its an ok amp for someone thats just starting out or wants a little bass. It doesn't have a fan, so my 2 pioneer subs tend to clip it out after an hour of play, guess its time for me to upgrade.

CX950
This Amp is not bad at all for the price. I got 2 pioneer 10's(Shallow mount) 1000watts a piece hooked up to it and will be monitoring how it performs. It does run kinda hot but that's about it. It gives good bass and has no feed back whatsoever. I'll keep you posted.
