Great, while it lasted!

I bought 2 of these for a mild system in my F150. The pair wired @ 2 ohm at about 300 watts really hit hard and low. I had them in a sealed box that was double the size it should have been and, I believe that is why one blew. It was very easy to push them past their excursion max with the box volume so large. My Fault. Decent quality, great price.

Awesome bang for the buck

Running 2 of these bridged to an older JL audio mono amp. I'm only pushing around 250watts to them and so far so good! I replaced some extremely old kicker 8's in the original "still water designs" truck boxes. Very small boxes that these Boss subs just barely fit in. The boxes aren't even the ideal volume for these, but the sound is impressive to say the least. I have them mounted behind the seat in my 76 Chevy stepside. It was my dad's old truck, and his old system. I just upgraded amps to some I had laying around in the garage, as well as an Alpine deck, and some Kenwood 6.5" separates in the doors...man, these 8's pound! Nice clean bass for cheap, and I'm barely pushing them. I nice amp with a little more power, maybe run 3 or 4 in a custom box and it would slap! Loving these subs! Hard to believe what you get for the money! We'll see how they hold up, but from what I read, Boss really stands behind their products. So far I'm impressed with the sound the subs produce.
