great for lower powered systems

I have it hooked up to a Lanzar Opti Scion 15 dvc and it knocks pretty good. The sub was in a ported box and it was too loud with the gain turned up 1\2 way. Put the sub in a sealed box and all of a sudden, I had great musical bass. But, distortion was way too much. Hooked up the bass remote and it was much better with less distortion. However, there was still to much distortion. I upgrade all of my power and speaker wires to ofc copper and the distortion is almost gone. The gain is up to 3\4 right now and it's hitting like a 15 should hit. I also added 12 oz of poly fill to the box and it helped more than I thought it would. Sonic is correct when they recommend the higher quality wires. The accessories make all of the difference. Great little amp and BOSS offers a great value compared to the other brands out there :)

Great amp for the money

This amp is awesome by so far. I have it plugged into a Sony Xplod 10 inch sub and works great.

great value

I would recomend this product for the novice and for a wory free install. I currently have this installed with a low level pic up which works quite well and drives my sub hard. My only complaint is that the bass boost is only on or off, on +15 off zero... I would have liked it to have a dial instead... Other from that, it is a great solution for the hobbyists. not suitable for comp setups!
