Nice product! I bought these 4 speakers (2 sets) 6 months ago or so, to replace my old stock speakers. I gotta say, they sound very nice with an external sub. If you're looking for excellent sound alone without a sub, then buy another more expensive type of speaker.

By the way, Sonic Electronix was easy to order from and their shipping was as advertised... Great! Great price for the nice sound - No regrets yet.

Not bad for the price. Sound better than stock. It's good for normal listen with normal volume. It's not for big fan of bass listener. Anyway it works for me as a normal listener.

Great Speakers, Good Value. Installed these on my daughters 92 Honda Civic. Easy to Install. They produce a nice sound, and were easy on my pocketbook. I would highly recomend these speakers.

Boss Ch6520

I used this speakers in 2 pairs, 2 front and 2 rear with a 25 Watt Rms head unit Boss738BI. I think that without an amplifier you cant get clear and loud sound. So i recommend also buying an amplifier when buying these speakers.

Nice Speakers For The Price

I ordered two sets of these to replace the worn out speakers in my 2007 Silverado (new body style). Every site I went to stated the 6.5" was good for the front and back (extended cab). I found that the fronts are actually 6", and the rear are 5.5". They are also built into special adapter plates. But, with a little modification, and some other parts I bought, I made them work. They do sound great though, with the new head unit I also had to replace. The price is great on these though. You get your moneys worth from them. I will order elsewhere next time however, as other places would've also included the adapter plates I had to order, and the speaker wiring adapters as well. I just ended up splicing the wires.

This product was outstanding quality for its low price. I am a person who loves extreme levels of bass and these speakers can put out! You would want subs to go with them though. I am even thinking about buying another set for my rear speakers!

Better than factory!!!

I'm not a car audio guru or anything, but for the price, I definitely recommend these speaker to anyone looking to upgrade from their paper factory speakers. It's been about a month now...not any bass producers, but solid highs and mids.

AWSOME speakers FOR THE MONEY

At first I was a bit skeptical about the speakers but once I wired them into my Pioneer Head unit they rocked. They handle the highs fairly well and surprisingly dont distort my music. Very Happy with my Purchase.

So far Ive had these in for about 4 months and still no complaints.

Ok speakers to replace factory

The speakers sounded great when I installed them. I bought 4 6" and 4 4"x6" boss so that I could replace all factory speakers in both of my 2006 Chevys. Three of them have started to crackle when listening to the radio at an high volume. They are what I expected for the price and still sounded better then my factory speakers. Not upset over the blown speakers but I expected them last longer then a year. Only got 4 months out of half of them.

I purchased 4 of these speakers for a icechest beach radio i was making. i am really impressed with them. very clear on the highs and they actuall have some bass to them. 4 speakers mounted in a 48 quart icechest with amp and battery. there was so much bass i had to spray expanding foam inside the lid to quiet the rattle. these speakers look and sound great.

Don't waste your money

Put these in and barely turned up the volume and one of them sounded like it was rattling took it back out and the speakers coil was shot, save your money these are cheap for a reason.

great sefvice, inferior product

The delivery, price and promptness was excellent. The stereo is cheap, sub par quality, but you get what you pay for. It does work, am tm adjustment and stereo receiver are one of the worst I've seen, lacks any power sound wise. 30 bucks, though. If you just need a stereo and not worried about performance, It may be ok.

Sounds amazing

I got these speakers for my sisters car and they are really easy & fast to install. They sound really good & the bass is good not like the other speakers that sound bad with bass. These are the ones you want

Great Buy!

These were all and all great speakers for the price. Installation was very easy, and there was nothing to complain about the sound. However, when placing the door panel back on, I punctured the rubber inside of the speaker and it didn't work after that. That was my own fault, but the rubber inside is very very fragile and easy to break. Other than that they were great speakers.

I did really like these speakers, but, I do have to say they are best used in an sound tight car. My car on the other hand is a convertible, so I know I'll eventually have to get a bigger speaker for the loudness I'm looking for. They'r excellent entry level speakers to get away from your stock ones.

I think they're a good speaker for those of us who aren't into like. EXTREME loudness. But I won't lie, they are fairly loud IMO. But convertibles. Go get a higher end set. Sound tight cars. Very good choice.

I bought the Boss 6x9 speakers for my 1998 Dodge Ram. The OEM speakers blew and I needed a quality replacement. The Bosses were the answer. These speakers are full of ritch bass and some sweet trebles too, even off of the stock Dodge Amplifier! This is a great buy, Sonic Electronics is the real deal. Give them a shot, you wont be disapointed.

Not as great as I thought

I bought 2 pairs for my 2011 Jetta. I changed 1 door speaker only to see how they work. When I turned it on, I compared the Boss speaker to the original VW speaker, and the difference was surprising. The VW speaker was much better than the Boss New speaker. This product is good for the price, but not as good as I thought.

Good sounds...

I purchased these speakers as replacements for my factory speakers in my '02 Yukon XL. The front needed some modification of the factory mount, but the sound quality was not hindered. The output is clear and the price was great!

Good for the money!

These are very good speakers for the money. however, not the best . They do make a good entry level speaker or good for someone who just needs replacements. If you are going for a loud stereo then spend a little extra.

Good sound!

These were all and all great speakers for the price. Installation was very easy, and there was nothing to complain about the sound. My only problem was that the bass wasn't very strong when hooked up to the Kenwood head unit. Other than that, it is a pretty kickin' loud system with quality, crisp sound.

Good starter speaker, don't believe the max rating/rms rating

I would suggest these if you are looking to use them with a HPF/LPF. Make sure you lower the amount of bass you are pumping into these if you like to play loud music. I've destroyed two sets of these already, I'm undecided if I want to purchase another set.

Why bother

Sometimes there is a reason a price is so low and this is why. They are junk. Buy higher quality speakers. I had a pair of these boss speakers thinking yeah, "I'll save some cash and get these". Well, I was wrong. One speaker kept cutting in and out on me and the other blew. wth right. I hope this helps you in your decision. Thanks.

All about the base!!

i put these in the back of my 2004 Chevy cavalier. I tore out the old ones and mounted these ones in secured them well with the screws provided(which were long enough) thank you. They kick out a good bit of base for a lil speaker!! Definitely recommend!!

Great speakers for little money

I figured these speakers would suck for being so cheap but they turned out to be really good. sound Quality is nice and very easy to install although the website said it would fit my 97 honda civic ex it did not I had to drill some new holes to line up the speakers but not a big deal.

If you are looking to replace stock 6 x 9 then these are a great cheap fix. They will sound much better then your stock speakers, unless you have a high end car with a high end stereo. They look very "loud". One grill cracked, no biggie cause i didn't use it.

Don't buy unless necessary....

Speakers came falling apart. Only bought them because i wanted to have some highs coming from the trunk of my jeep and the 3.5s were peaking too much. and i didnt really care for the quality of the speaker i was going to get. Do NOT get these unless you are using them as a temporary thing. They give you a bolt and a nut to fasten to box... but i cant put a nut on the inside of the box geniuses!

Good speaker for the money. A lot of bass. Make sure everything is pull down tight or you will have a rattle with all the bass. Don"t handle highs very well. These make good rear speakers if you something up front to handle high notes. Small magnets make for good fit in door panels and OEM replacement.

Great Sound for the price

I wasn't expecting a lot from these speakers for the price. I just needed something to replace my factory speakers in my 2001 Elantra.

Great Speakers @ A Great Price

To all shoppers, if you are looking to upgrade your system this is the website to be on! I came on here and based off the model Toyota and year I bought a new deck and all new speaker. It is unfortunate in one way that I was not able to use all the speakers or deck. I bought all of them for a 2010 Camry and end up trading that car in for a new 2016 Corolla. I was able to put the 6X9's in the new car and I will let you know anytime you buy a new car you will probably want to upgrade the system. Not all car manufactures put good speakers in new cars.
