Boss Elite 660 Review

I would like to give this purchase a higher rating BUT it's a 7 of 10.
1. The replacement was easy enough BUT, had I though this one out a little more I would have realized that the color changing dial is a waste of time. Only 2 of the 7 colors are visible in daylight and not that great then. A plain white display would have worked much better.
2. The wiring harness was easy enough BUT I had to bend the clips around several times on the harness provided to get them to line up with the original harness in the vehicle.
3. Fit of the radio was only fair. I assumed it would be perfect. Surprise me!
4. Overall, the radio sounds great BUT there are way too many separate options to set and most of them are irrelevant to me.
5. Take away all the fan-dangles and the radio would have been perfect.

Boss ELITE 660BRGB

I'm very happy with this unit. It was fairly simple to install and performs well.

Wonderful but has an annoying issue.

Pros - Easy installation, stereo looks and works great, BT is perfect and fast, USB works great, discs play well. Would buy again.
Cons - only one really nagging issue. You can't read the display outdoors no matter what color you make it unless it's dark outside. Needs a better brightness. Really annoying having to hold your hand above it to see what it says.
