Excellent Bose replacement

I purchased the Boss BV850ACP to replace my old Bose head unit, and I’m glad I did……here’s why:

1: Inexpensive

2: if you use available resources, like Axxess SWIC, you can plumb into the existing speaker system, amp, USB, and 3.5mm aux jack, and steering controls without hassle and minimal rewiring. Metro actually makes a harness that plugs into the Bose RCA’s so I didn’t have to rewire any speakers.

3: It sounds way better/is louder than my old Bose system.

4: If you REALLY know how to install, you can replace the Bose mic in the sunroof, sunglass
Pocket overhead.

5: the screen looks phenomenal and you have a few color choices to change the LED’s to match your dash light color.

6: SIRI/Google assistant is hands free, just ask and they’ll reply.

7. Apple/Google Maps/Waze…..show on the screen. I also use the SiriusXM app on my phone and the Icon loads up and shows on the UI.

8: The screen is capacitive rather than the old resistive ones, which makes for a nice, bright responsive screen..

9: Boss makes setting everything up in the menu extremely easy. Setting up CarPlay took about 15 seconds.

10: It makes your dash look clean and less cluttered……(really, it does).

Replace factory stereo

Just had it installed, so far very nice, sound quality is very good, touch screen is very good. I have not set everything up yet, planning on doing that in the next couple of days.

Great Radio

This is my second Boss radio. My first is in my 2004 Ford F150, its been in there around 5 years or so.
These radios were iffy when I purchased my first one, but WOW am I impressed.
The features they offer are exactly what I needed and wanted and they work great.
I was skeptical when I first bought one, but they are great radios.
Compare their cost to the competitors and you won't be sorry if you buy one.

These can hand with the big dogs for the price would recommend for anyone. Eq is solid too.
