Boss Is Awesome

I have to say that I am a Boss Audio Fan. For the money, you just cant beat 'em. I have one of these subs in a sealed box built to spec 1.9ft2, and it sounds GREAT! It has great lows and a powerful sound, hits as hard as two 12's! This thing needs some power, I would recommend at least 600 watts RMS per sub. I would say that I had trouble finding a box for it, had to have one built. Boss delivers at low prices, I am consistently impressed by the quality of audio equipment they sell for 1/2 to 1/3 as much cost as mainstream brands. I recommend them any day!

Boss outcast L12

I have two of these subs in my car and the bass is so deep and im use a 3500 watt outcast amp to power them. I had a little trouble ounting the sub in the super bass speaker box and i fix that by making the speaker whole bigger but worth the trouble. For the price there great i was thinking about using four of theses 12 in my truck and i cant wait.

great buy you wont regret it!!

I love these subs and i have 8 of them in my 1990 Cadillac Deville. i can say that these will certainly be enough bass, though they say their rated 1000 watts rms and 2000 watts peak they can only handle around 5 or 600 watts rms.

Boss delivers with The Outcast!

Don't sleep on the L12. This sub hits hard! I have 3 of them mounted in a ported enclosure, driven by a Power Acoustik CPT1-5500D. Both, the voice coils and drivers are wired in parallel for a 0.67 Ohm load. Surprisingly, the amp is stable. Wow! I can't begin to tell you how amazing they sound. I expected great quality, but these subs have blown me away. Literally! The lows that this sub can handle is astounding. With a vented box, the bass ridiculous! For those of you who want to save some money, but still get the same quality sound as the more popular names (Orion, Kicker, JL, etc.), become an Outcast. I'll put the L12 up against any sub of similar specs and match or exceed it's performance. Hands down. BTW, for anyone interested, excursion on the sub is amazing as well...just in case someone wants to record a "Bass, I Love You" video. Side note:
This is definitely not a starter sub, by any stretch of the imagination. A starter sub made by Boss Audio would be the older, red coned, CHAOS Edition, e.g CH123DVC or CHAOS Special Edition SE12D. The Outlaw plays with the big boys!

boss l12

Boss subwoofers havent impressed me yet, i started with the onyx and that one fried on me because of a factory mistake, the L12 blew on me the first day i had it, i have the bv9992 touch screen which is amazing but the subwoofers are a no go.

Boss Outcast L12

These subs are Boss' best! They took full power from bazooka amp el1500. This is actually a 12.5". Had to make box hole bigger just to fit it in.

boss hits hard

Ok I had a set of Rockford Fosgate HX2 12s 500 RMS 1000 max. Great set of subs. The Boss l12 hits harder but don't have the lows like the Fosgate. I have the l12s in a 3 cf sealed box and a 2000 watt RMS Brutus Hifonics amp as of now I'll say it's an ok sub but I'm going to port the box and see if I can get some good low bass out of them. They handle high power well thats a plus. For the price very good deal. I have been working with stereos for 15 years and wanted to try another brand. I was all about JL Audio, Fosgate, Orion, and MTX. so if you want a good hard hitting sub for a low price then yeah go for it. But I don't think they are true 1000 RMS 2000 max cause my Rockfords had more weight to them.

BOOMBOOMBOOM

I have 2 Outcasts in a sealed box being powered by a Boss Diablo 350.4 bridged, and they sound great. I couldn't ask for better subs at this price.
