Cheap...I don't think so.

Well I've been pushing these Phantoms @ 4 ohms with a 2000 watt Boss Armour amp @ 4 ohms , so at the time being. I still haven't pushed them to their limits, but they haven't let me down at all. Nice hard hitting bass (crisp bass, not that rattling sh**) I will be getting a 4000 watt Armour amp that's 1 ohm stable in the near future to really push these Phantoms and will let you know how they hold up. Hope this helped someone in their purchase, as past reviews helped me.

Boss subs

Good bang for your buck. Nice speakers and well worth the money for them.

Questionable???

I had bought two of these and Had them on a 3000 watt boss amp and they over heated idk if it burned them or what but they did hit for a good hour are two.

Great Sub

Ive had previous Boss subs that were too much for my car at the time... Got only one of these thinking it would be just enough and this beat just as hard as both of my last boss subs... You really cant go wrong with this sub. As long as you wire them right... Send the right amount of power to them... and Break them in right... You wont be disappointed in them.

Boss P12DVC

This sub is the best you can get for the price. They're loud, they sound clean and boy they make my car shake. My friend got two 12 kicker L7 solo baric and these subs are louder than his. I'm in love with these subs. I hope this helps with your buy.

Warning on Boss P12DVC

Reframe from dropping the ohms to these speakers.4ohms is as low as I would go on these subwoofers. I had 2 pair of these,1 in my car and the other in my daughters. I wired them to 1ohm to get the most power from the speakers to my Boss Riot 3400watt amps...Fried both subwoofers in each car. I'll never make that misstake again.
