Just enough!

First, this product really works as described. I have a 1000 watt Planet Audio amp that is a voltage and amperage hog. I could actually see my light dim when running the sound moderately. I was sceptical that this simple cap could supply enough capacity to effectively solve this dimming issue. After about 3 days, the cap was operating to perfection. No more dimming lights. Also, I notice my speakers actually sounded more crisp and edgy. I wonderful improvement in sound quality. I am very satisfied.

I run 2 12inch audiobahn exursions on this amp and it pushes them very well. The size is perfect not to big and fits right unerneath the seat or small space. The best part is it stays pretty cool even after running most the day.

Boss 1100w amp - Great amp

Great little amps. I was absolutely blown away by the power that is produced from this little amp. I had another 1100w amp that did not produce nearly as much sound. Except that I had to return the first unit I had after about 1.5 months, it great. I have had the new unit for over three months and it works great. Great amp for the price.

Gets the job done

Works fine, only weird thing is that the voltage display does not have a remote wire hook up so it stays on after you shut the system down. It eventually turns off, I don't know how, but it doesn't drain the battery or anything. Looks clean, great for the price, would recommend.

Much Better

I installed this to help with headlight dimming at night and it helped a lot. I have a Pioneer digital 800 watt RMS amp and adding this seemed to help make my amp come alive. Installing and charging was stupid easy. My subs are hitting harder and seem to have a better sound. It didn't totally take away the headlight dimming but it's not nearly as noticeable and it only does it slightly on certain hard-hitting songs. My alternator is 165amp and I have a stock battery so I'll probably upgrade the battery in the future too but I don't go around "bassing" all of the time either.

Good Amp

I would recommend this to all starters. I have had this amp for over six months now, power two 12's. Each 12 is rated at 300W RMS, and this amp has powered them wonderfully.

Was looking for a capacitor to help with my car's battery and alternator with the addition of a rockford fosgate preloaded 12" sub, box, amp combination. Capacitors are essentially the same despite the brand. This one features quick negative, positive hook up. No rem wire to turn it on. Con - when it displayed 13.8 volts on the cap, the voltage going to it was actually 14.4 volts on the craftsman voltage meter. Otherwise, nice product.

Exactly what I needed

Before I was running just a Boss 1200 watt woofer with a Boss 1500 watt amp and I could definitely see dimming. I upgraded to a 15'' Earthquake sub and knew I would need this. I see no dimming at all now, works perfectly.

It's a great amp, it's in my wife's car pushing two kicker tens and haven't had a problem yet, she loves it and the value was awesome. I payed double for my amp with way less watts.

Works good for 1000w and lower systems. Excellent capacitor.

So I was looking around for a good cap to buy to add onto my system. Honestly I didn't find any I liked that weren't super expensive like $70+. My friend actually recommended this cap to me since he's had it in his car for awhile now. So I thought well for $25 why not give it a shot. Keep in mind I'm running a single 15" Kicker CompD in my trunk so I'm pulling 1200w RMS and 1500w peak. The cap does good and does what it's supposed to do. But for the amount of pull and wattage my sub needs, the cap can't keep up so after about 3 mins or so of listening to music at a high volume, you'll notice the bass quiet down and/or my headlights will ever so slightly start to dim with the beat. So I wouldn't suggest this cap if your system has a rms of over 1000. Other than that the cap is great. Looks cool. Has a blue LED that blinks when there's any sort of draw from the cap. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN the terminal bolts. They will strip out. Only a little tightening is all they need to hold them. For $25 though you can't go wrong. It definitely helped my system even if it can't keep up all the time but I'm not thumping for hrs either. Everyday driving it helps keep my amp stable for regular listening.

Cool looking

Definitely recommend the product if you have a starter sound system set up. I have a 12" Kicker L5 with a pioneer champion series 500 w rms in my 99 v6 mustang, and noticed that it would hit real hard for a little, then the power would noticeably fade. With the capacitor the power is constant and you are always in control of when you want to slap. It looks awesome, my friends always confuse it for NOS. If you are a beginner however, I recommend going to youtube to learn how to connect it and charge it. It is very easy, and I did it myself.

Surprised at quality (pleasantly)

Using this to help run 400Wx2 subs. I didn't want to put so much into a cap this time around, but I didn't want to get ripped off with poo quality either. Turns out the build quality is great on this, and the price is great too. Looks nice too, I have nothing to complain about.

The eyelet connectors are flimsy and the speaker wire is hard to separate. When it does it exposes some of the copper. Otherwise the kit is ok.

Good product , but not enough speaker wire to wire two front door speakers in a scion xb. I guess it would have been enough if I had run one of them with the power wire instead of running on the other side of car, but everybody knows that's a bad idea due to engine noise. You would think they would take that into consideration. Also not a big fan of the square and round speaker wire very hard to separate and strip without exposing bare wire.

Bought this kit for my 650 watt rms amp. Not true awg 4 guage, but close.jacket is pretty thick.all wires flexible. Reached under the back seat of my 2008 silverado crew cab. But not a whole lot of slack if your going to a trunk. Fuse is ok... ive seen better and worse. Bottom line, if your on a budget and running 800 rms or under, this will work fine.

After reading reviews and most importantly watching the video Sonic posted with this product, I decided to give it a shot for my Cerwin Vega VPAS-12. The wires are exactly as described, true 4 gauge, not all insulation like the other brands. The fuse block is solid and easy to set up. I was worried it may not fit the VPAS connectors since they mention 8 gauge, but it works and it is holding in no problem.

The only thing I did change was the actual battery and ground terminals, they seemed weak, so i chose something stronger and all is well.

I was skeptic about buying a capacitor because so many people say they're pointless. But i was having problems with headlight dimming. So I went with a cheaper one. After connecting it, I immediately noticed the kick drum was hitting harder. Not a huge difference, but enough that i was glad I bought it. Also, it greatly reduced the headlight dimming. At this price, I would recommend to anybody that has an amp less than 1K watt, having headlight or other electrical issues.

Very good product at a good price

The Belva BB1D is a well made, solid product. The one complaint I had was with the mounting brackets; the rear bracket had a lip on it that I had to remove with a dremel to fit it in my truck. Capacitor itself is perfectly fine with being under the hood, near the edge of the hood. Install was very easy, just plug and play. Initial charging of the capacitor only took a few seconds and it works flawlessly. Very happy with this product.

This 1 farad capcitor does what it's supposed to. I'm pushing more than the recomended wattage for this particular unit. It is helping the dimming situation. But for my particular situation. I needed a bigger CAP. It includes a small charge piece to pre charge it so you don't get a spark when hook up the power. I couldn't get it to pre charge so hook it up. For a spark and it was good to go. Probably not the way to do it but that's how I did it

Capacitor seems to work but there is a blue light on the top where it reads voltage. Every time it is charging the light blinks off and on. It's kind of annoying because any power being used at all it starts to blink. Example rolling up-down window applying brake peddle or anything makes this charging light blink.

Personally I wouldn't recommend sonic electronics the 2 times I ordered something from this website I was only satisfied once and that would be the 6x9 kicker door speakers, the cap I ordered for my amp one of the clamps the hold the cap down was broken in half when I received it and I still have dimming issues so basically I spent 30 some dollars for a can with one bracket that lights up...does nothing else I will not be buying anything else from this company

Worth the money

Best my math tells me, I am getting about 380 watts RMS out of it at conservative settings. only running 2 volt input, gained 3/4 at low input setting. Powering a Crunch 12" DVC @ 2ohms. Sealed box. hits harder than expected. I have out grown the crazy stuff, but 10yrs ago I would run 2 12's with this amp and turn heads. It has a lot of power for 50-60 bucks. In the day, I was name brand all the way, MTX, JL, RF. I am proud to pop my trunk now to show ppl where all the noise is coming from, $50 amp, and a $30 sub. Almost laughable how loud it is. Great buy in my book. Only running 8ga too....just saying may be more there yet.

This was my 1st ever amp purchase for my 1st time installing subs. I bought it cause it's cheap and it works. It does underpower my subs,but that's my fault for not studying more before purchase. I recommend for the price and function. I am running this with an older Soundstream Reference RW-10 rated : 500 rms@ 2 ohms / 1000 peak @ 2 ohms with dual 4 ohm 2.5 " voice coil. I know that the subwoofers specks might not be the best match to the sub but it pounds ( not even using bass boost).

Great Amp for the money

I would highly recommend this amp. I have it hooked up in my F150 with driving (2) Kicker 12" COMP Subs. The amp combined with the 2 Mf Cap makes these subs rock. The Bass is clear and solid with virtually no distortion. My daughter liked it so much that she asked me to install one in her GMC Serria. I am about to purchase a third to install for a guy at work.
Would I recommend this amp to a friend?....Hell yes without a second thought.

Good bang for the buck

The amp sounds amazing. Right now it's powering my 10in kicker 4 ohm in my single cab truck. But I don't like the false claims by boss. Suppose to push 413w rms at 4 ohms, but when I attached by volt metered with a 60hz tone, it only did 24 volts= 150rms or so for a 4ohm load. I cant complain though, it matches my 150w rms woofer perfect haha. The bass boost is insane. Be careful with that. Remote works good. And the best part is that this amp runs pretty cool, doesn't get hot.

Surprisingly stout amplifier

I'm using this amp to drive two Boss CXX10s at a 2-ohm load. The amp is backed by a Kinetic HC400-BLU and a Belva BB1D 1 fared capacitor. We decided to add the extra battery because the system went into an '07 Civic and their car batteries are epically small. I am very impressed with the output of this amplifier. I plan to put my clamp on it over the next few days to see what the actual output is. I was hesitant to go with this amplifier but the system was budget all the way. I will give Boss more credit in the future after this build.

I purchased a Boss 1100 watt Amp and it got a total of maybe 48 hours playing time before it blew up and only had it halfway turned up!!

Running 1 4ohm DVC kicker compC 12 in a ported box at 2 ohms in parallel and the gain is set to a little over the quarter mark with the +18 bass boost at about a quarter turn and shit slaps with minimal to no distortion and the quality is amazing! I am ABSOLUTELY surprised yo

Damn good amp for a damn good price

I couldn't believe how good it is I have 3 12 inch subs I a box 2 at 2500 watts 1 at a 1000 all 4 ohms DVC and this thing makes them hound. I have all 3 hooked up to this thing and they hound. Amazing that's all I can say!

This solid, high proformance amp is a great deal! It maybe more than you're looking for, power-wise, but the proformance will change your mind. Rich low tones for a solo sub, put a bit of bump in your trunk.

Boss R1100M

I'm pusshing a single 10" sub ,name brand,it pushes about 40% of what it says on the amp. It sounds decent for the size but I'm happy with the purchase.

Best bang for buck

After looking around various places I found this boss amp and for the price and it's capabilities I am impressed. I had an old JL 10w6v1(10 inch sub) wanted to throw in my work truck. I have the amp mounted to the side of the box. With rubber feet between the amp and box for air flow and to keep heat down. After a month of use I've had no problems at all. I have everything at their proper levels for this one sub but it definitely has the capability to pound a couple twelves. I had my system at probably 85% volume level for almost three hours once and as the amp did get pretty warm, I've had other amps become hot to the touch in less then two. I actually recommend this amp for someone looking to add a single sub but may add another at some point. Again best bang for buck!

Everything I Needed

Used this kit to run an amp to the trunk of a 2015 Kia Optima. Ended up trimming about 1½ft of excess to help clean up the install. Everything seems to be good quality. Ran the power wire down the driver's side and RCA & amp signal wire down the passenger side to avoid any interference. Plenty of length of everything for a full size sedan.

Good bass amp

Needed an amp to add a subwoofer to my stock system which was lacking in low end bass. I built an sealed box to fit under drivers seat with 8" subwoofer and this amp worked perfect for what I needed.

Note that I couldn't get the amp switch to work tho. Also the port for the wire is kind of a pain in the ass.

Would not recommend this to anyone in order to get this thing to have any kinda bass you have to use the bass booster switch on the amp. It’s a joke worst money I have ever spent. In a good system you should have to use bass boost or loudness or anything like that for a system. So please if your thinking about buying a amp do your self a favor and don’t waste your money! Now I’m stuck with a crappy amp that everyone on here says buy it works really good. PLEASE DONT FALL FOR IT!

Premium look for budget money????

I must say this is a very nice looking amp especially at night when the boss is lit up blue gives it a premium look but it's definitely fit for someone like me that's on a budget...
I like the warranty that boss gives along with the extended offer from Sonic Electronics low price warranty extension plan..
Bottom line I feel good with my purchase it was even recommended from their customer service agent who was assisting me with an amp I had ordered that may be on backorder due to the high demand all I had to do was give the rep the type of woofers that I have and what ohm's I planned on running them in and boom up came the Boss 1100M I'm not going to give a wattage judgement but all I can say is if you want to be a audio competition this is not for you but if you have 2 12's and run them parellel you and your passengers are going to be impressed. Great product, price, look, sound!!!

I bought this just to have a little more bass in my truck so I paired it with a boss 1400 speaker (also under 40 bucks) and wow... I did not expect the sound I got.... Great system for under 100 bucks....

A BEAST

Acquired a R1100M on a trade for some work. I applied it to a JL Audio 10 w/dual voice coils in a 1cuft sealed enclosure. Just under peak power, it knocks my vision off when bass notes hit. Way better sound than my JBL amp bridged and the voice coils wired in series. In my opinion, anything larger in dimension is a waste of money. Well worth its price!!
