Great buy!!!

Put these in my sons car and could not believe the deep rich bass with these speakers. Would recommend any one these. Going to buy another set for my truck!!

Great Speakers

A while back i acquired 4 of these speakers, they are great. The sound quality is phenomenal for their size, and they are loud. The only thing that I would recommend is don't mount them where you can see them in your mirrors at night, the red eyes can be a little distracting. If you want a mean look and great sound these are the speakers i would recommend.

these are Sick

i got these Boss SK694 and hook them up to my Boss PH2.800 and they a give a huge sound the skulls and the glowing light are so dope...
they came in the mail very quick, these 730 watts are the loudest 6x9 i ever heard...i am going to get a couple more cause these are sure in my ghetto price range... love it...

They are vary best at highs mids and bass they have a large magnet that is a plus, I like them very much thanks Sonic.

the eyes light up!

I just installed these in my 2003 Dodge Neon today, I decided to take the rear deck out for now because there is no hole in the deck to see the skull face place and as I was taking it out it ripped...so I don't have a rear deck now but the speakers make up for it...I installed them for my highs and they work perfect...I didn't notice until I was driving tonight that as the bass hits the yes light up! this was honestly probably the best 60 bucks I ever spent...only problem is that the skull grille rattles a bit so I'm gonna try to find a way to stop that

Good value

They look great and can handle the RMS power that they specify but they don't have a great bass in my opinion. However they are definatly loud which is what I wanted. Good value for the money.

These boss are BOSS

Even after six months, hooked up to a 1250 watt 2 channel amp on 2 ohms, these are wonderful speakers, with great sound quality, awesome visual appeal with the faceplate and red LEDs. Use a little onesided adhesive felt under the faceplate to reduce the rattle and you are set.

Theses speakers are awesome because they light up my car and they hit hard! They are worth the buy and are great for looks as well as power.

If you run the right amount of wattage to them these speakers have a great sound quality for the price, don't run them off of the radio you need a small amp to really appreciate these speakers.

i bought these for giggles as I am a Rockford fosgate guy and wanted to see how much these could really take and so I hooked them up to my 125 watt rms Rockford amp x2 channels and they lasted about 10 minutes and they got hot and blew the coil and the quality was horrible from the start....

Great speaker

I have 4 of these along with (2) 6.5 and (2) 4x6 speakers all of the phantom skull series. There are in my S-10 in a custom box. I have the other 4 running off the head unit. The 6x9s are powered by a Legacy blue diamond amp. I have had these for 2 years now and have not missed a beat. Going to get more a I might make a wall of these. Great for the price. Just watch how you hook them up or you will fry them fast.

Cool look but does not hold up to the watts at 175 per side had 150 a side and speaker blew quick

Not a true 6x9

Decent look and sound quality. However they are slightly larger than 6x9 and would not fit into my rear deck mounts and actually ended up snapping one of the speaker mounts trying to get it set. Had to replace my original speakers and will not be using these unfortunately.

Face Plate

The face plate is held on by 5-7 clips( dont know exact #) on the plate. No tools are needed, I peeled it off no problem. In the package, there was a diagram of where all the clips were.

They sound decent enough. Some bass to them, but I don't think the RMS is true. I have their 6.5 3-way in the front and 6by9 in the rear, powered by a strong amp, but the amp turns off from over heating. The amp isn't set more than 1/4 of what its capable, and about 1/2 what the speakers call for. But they light up, and for the price. I'll buy again.
