Nice compact bass
I have been bumpin' this boston 8" in a ported box behind my seat for six months now and am well pleased with the quality of construction. It's not so much of a big hitter like a 10" or 12", but very impressive still. I think the last sub I had was also a boston 8" like twelve years. I drove that thing as hard as I could for years. I wanted another quality 8" so I went back to Boston.
Thanks, Dave M.

super sub
Great sub for the money. Plan on buying 2nd. Soon very fast like any 8" sub should be but also holds a solid low, ever in a .3 box

Terrific Sound Quality & Power
I purposely selected this sub based on the volume of my sealed box, desired QTC and the fact it was dual voice coil. The results were even better than I hoped - the Boston produces warm, tight and surprisingly deep base. Very low distortion. Sound volume is there too, although I'm not interested in turning it up to "11" to find out.

Tight Bass!
I bought 2 of these and currently have them both running at 200W rms @ 4ohms with a monoblock. the bass is great, and it only requires 0.3 cubic foot to function. I built a custom fiberglass enclosure for it and these sound better than a single 12 inch i used to have powering at 500w @ 2ohm.
The supplied screws strip easily, so watch out.
