2 bostons G1 12's and alpine type r 12 in single cab S 10
Howdy ya'll just writing a review here for these subs and my other sub will post on it as well I have a 84 single cab S-10 Alpine type R 12 dual 4 ohm on 1000 watt Sony and 2 Boston G1 12's on a 1200 watt Sony amp Alpine is in a premade wedge box flipped upside down to fit it's roughly 47 inches long by 20 inches tall goes from 9 inches down to 6 or 7 inches port is 20inches long and is 4 inches tall and goes 8.5 inches wide down to 6.5 inches wide tuned to idk the Bostons are in a custom box I made it's 47 inches long on bottom and top was same but I had to chop the corners to angle it's 10 inches wide and 20 inches tall and ported 8.5wx4hx20L and it's hitting so deep with all 3 subs my windshield flews 1/4-1/2 inch and everything vibrates loudly next investment is treble speakers cause stock dash speakers can't hear when on volume 34 also the alpine type R the sony 1000 watt amp blew 1 coil and is only running 1 coil bridged and bostons are dropped to 2 ohm load bridged on 1200watt been with that amp since new about 3-4 years ago

Nice sub
This is a really nice sub. Sounds great without a lot of power needed. I have just one in a frontier and it added the bottom end I was looking for.

Great sub for the money
I built a custom ported box for mine. 2.07cu/ft after sub and port displacement, 4 inch wide 10inch long port makes tuning 35.2hz. My amp's birthsheet is 534watts at 4 ohms and this baby Boston has handled it no problem. It will play music all day sounding excellent and with 500 watts rms it did a 137.3dB on a a 57hz burp on the Term Lab. The mic was on the kick panel, with the door open in a Ford Contour.

This is a great sub
I've got this running on 155 watts and it sounds great. You can feel the sound.
I've got a JL 12W3 in my other vehicle and I can honestly say the both sound just as nice. I really can't give the edge to either one. For the price this speaker is a no brainer.
Granted, I'm after sound quality but I like it loud. I'm not trying to shake the block, but this can determinately vibrate your mirrors and sound clean while doing it. I'd buy another in a heart beat.

Nice sub
Very nice sub, especially for the price. Added one of these subs to an F150 and it's turned out to be a perfect compliment to my Boston components. Would definitely recommend or purchase again.
