bang for your buck

Wow...What a great little sub for the money and really worth alot more !.... I have 1 of these in a ported box in the trunk of my crown Vic...and I compete for SQ with MECA and Ive won 2 first places with this little guy taking care of all the lows.

When I want to tune for bass ...it Kicks pretty dang hard ...I've hit 132.2 decibels... not too shabby for such an inexpensive sub.

Oh yeah ...and Im only throwing 300W at it !!! I'm powering it off the sub channel of an Alpine 5 channel digital Amp ... PDX-5 ...

Totally satisfied customer here ...everything Ive ever bought from Sonic Electronix has been a good deal ...they have the best prices and everything is perfect when it arrives here. Thanks Sonic E !!!

I

I bought this sub and put it in a 0.5" cu ft sealed box, as per manufacturer's spec, and it sounds amazing in the back of my '97 tahoe, no joke. I'm using this with Alpine SPX-13PRO on a Hifonics ZXI-6410 amp.

First and foremost, this sub sounds VERY good! I have to be honest, this is my first car sub, but I've been listening to high end headphones for a couple of years now so I know what good sound sounds like, and this sub is it! You can feel the scratchy growl of a bass guitar reverberate in your ears, easily distinct from the dull thud and pulsing impact of every bass drum hit. This sub provides sound that is thick, textured, and layered, without a hint of distortion.

With the gain turned up to about half for the sub, and with good EQ'ing, the sound is very satisfying at 0db, and in fact on many songs I feel there is a bit too much bass for my musical tastes and turn it down to -2db. on some songs, the car rattles with the sub at 0db on the head unit, which goes up to +10db, so...yeah. I couldn't imagine it in a ported box. or two...which I might be doing soon (long story).

wow.

Wow. This thing's frequency responce is insane. A perfect amount of bass at every frequency, at any volume. A very awesome sub.

SQ winner!!!

It's not going to win any competitions based on volume output but no one is making a sub that can accurately reproduce bass with as much clarity as the G3. I have tried them all and it's very easy to be fooled by loud woofers versus quality sound. Also, it's amazing that such a high performer can only require a sealed enclosure at .5cu ft which is usually never enough despite what the manufacturer states. This thing is fully operational and humming beautifully with that setup. I'm throwing at least 400w/rms at it and it's handling it without breaking a sweat so stop looking at all these "loud" subs and get to buying the far superior G3.
Heck, you can replace the parts and it comes with a built in fuse so you never burn out your sub for cryin' out loud! What are you waiting for?

Awsome Subs!!

These subs are amazing! I have two of these in a bassworx box running on a 1200 watt amp and these things pound! its some of cleanest bass Ive ever heard, and it blows my friends subs away. I definitely recommend these subs for the price. Oh and the rms rating is way under rated

Great Sub!!!!!

This sub sounds awesome. It is loud enough to pound with rap or hip hop music, but tight enough to sound great when your jamming to some rock music. It is definitely one of the better subs I have ever heard. You can't beat it for the price!
