Great idea for small places...

This is a great idea for small places I mated it with their G3 subs and their GT400 monoblock and it did help hit the deeper notes louder, but overall for 65 dollars you could spend the money on another subwoofer in your system vs buying this.

if you get the boston acoustics g5 sub and you put it in a sealed box you must get this it just makes the sub sound so much better

I own a 04 F150 Regular cab, so of course i didnt need anything powerful to put some bass in my truck. so I combined this G5 with its GTR and I created a double wedged box that would go directly behind the center seat. With a MB Quart Premium 1200 amp. I was very satisfied, with big deep bass that would fill the truck. The box includes a heavier weight ring to add on to the sub so it would be able to handle heavier bass and make it sound louder so i did, and it works really well and sounds great. But they stopped making this sub, so i was dissapointed and luckily i found it all here!! I wonder if it would work with any use of other subs...im sure it would.
